I would definitely recommend staying here in Hue. The private double room was clean, air con actually works and beds are comfortable. A special thank you to Ming who works there. She is so much fun, very helpful and always smiling! They will organise bike tours for you and any transport needed. The breakfast is great as well. You get a selection of fresh fruits, hot drink and a cooked dish.
Staff are perfect. Bom is great. Em Dep Lam. Crazy is crazy. Sammie is super amazing, also Em Dep Lam. And Quynh is the best. To be fair, the beds are friggin huge. Decent pool table. Beer and that. All good basically
Great hostel, great location. What makes it special is the staff who are all hilarious and personable. From check in to check out they new our names and gave us banter, local tips ect. Made the stay so memorable as we were laughing pretty much the whole timr. And they all were cute cowboy outfits. Love malcolm Jamie and luke
Really enjoyed my stay at Why not hostel. It was probably the staff that made it so enjoyable- the first people in Vietnam to make jokes/ mess around and were really chatty! They remembered names from the get go. The staff also helped me book several trips and tours. Such nice people. The location is really good. 10/15min walk to the imperial citadel, and within a short walk to lots of bars and restaurants. Must try Madam Thu restaurant, just 5 mins away. The breakfast at the hostel was really good. Choice from a menu for food and drinks along with fresh fruit. The beds were bigger than an average single bed and they were comfy. Curtains on the beds are god for privacy. Divider between beds is not full length but is big enough not to see the person in the next bed. So that was fine. Personal light and plug. Bathrooms were clean and shower was hot. No issues here. Free beer was good too! The only improvement I can think of is having bigger lockers for your bag. There are small lockers within each bed, but only a luggage storage rack for your big bag- not that I had any issues, but it’s always nice to feel that your stuff is held securely. Thank you why not hostel.…
I stayed here in April 2019. The staff were really helpful and had great humour. We rented semi-auto scooters and went to the different temples the staff recommended. They had a pool table in the bar/restaurant area which was good for socialising if you play pool. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfortable (we had a private room).
