We stayed at the Scarlett boutique Hotel for 11 days because the bad weather meant we couldn't continue our bicycle tour of Vietnam. The rooms were so comfy we didn't want to come out in the morning. And the team at reception are great. The locations is good too. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around and not too far from the Citadel. All in all a fabulous hotel in Hue
A nice hotel in a small alley. Close to many restaurants and bars. Staff is extremily nice. We are able to leave the stroller downstairs which is great and leaves more room for us. Area is also great to walk around with a stroller with many baby and adult clothes shops around.
The hotel is located in a little and quiet alley right in the center of Hue! However, it's been tastefully and artistically designed making the room very cozy and nice ! Staffs were very helpful and ready to assist our needs. It had been a relaxing stay!
Slightly quirky ( in a good sense) boutique hotel. Not part of a chain, and it showed in the very personal feel to it, and the extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Not super lux: but does not pretend to be, and is very good value. Hue is a noisy city , with traffic and moped noise. A real plus is that The Scarlett is tucked away in a quiet alley, so is quiet, but is walking distance to the main ( part pedestrianised) restaurant /bar area; and the river. Comfortable room ( though not that big). Staff very efficient and helpful with advice and arrangements for excursions.
Another gem of a Vietnam hotel tucked into the end of a small alley off a main road near the river. The staff were very helpful, my room had elegance and style in addition to comfort and a great shower. Perhaps it might be a little small for a couple but I found it perfect. Breakfast is taken in a small beautifully furnished, almost French-like setting off the lobby. In addition to standard buffet items, there is a list of egg dishes from which to choose. Delicious. I find this type of hotel infinitely preferable to the chain hotels at which I often have to stay! The receptionist also arranged a car with a very good English-speaking driver to get me to Danang. Loved the black and scarlet logo design on the hotel materials like key cards. I suggested that the hotel should print T-shirts in those colors. Had they been available I would certainly have purchased four!…
