Hue Ecolodge brings together our 15 year experiences in Vietnam travel and hospitality service. We are also the first local service provider that is fully dedicated to and engaged in eco and responsible tourism in Hue. Situated in a verdant, centuries - old village, our lodge makes your ideal “home away from home”, and more. Hue Ecolodge was built with our ardent love for the land that is so fertile, tranquil and pretty like a soul soothing poem. Our boutique ecolodge offers 20 bungalows with 50 rooms in total, all built from natural materials: bamboo, wood, rattan and straw. Its baked brick walls, tile floors, wooden bathtubs and straw roofs blend effortlessly into untouched nature and authentic traditional culture setting of Thuy Bieu Village. Based on the concept of local “garden home” style, all our bungalows are complete with private gardens that are wonderfully preserved during our lodge construction. For those who are seeking to simultaneously relax in a pristine natural set

The rooms are amazing. Very spacious and decorated in a traditional Vietnamese style. There is a little garden with an outdoor shower which is a great feature. The pool is large and clean. Breakfast is nice but could have a little more selection if I am being very picky.

Staff spoke English well and were courteous and wanted to make our stay pleasant.
We did have to wait for about 45 minutes to get checked in due to a mis-communication between their reservation team and the receptionist staff but we were informed of what was going on.

The grounds are special! Walking along the pathways through the greenery in silence is a lovely experience. Lots of shade from the heat and the restaurant area is well kept, orderly and clean. The reception area is open air with fans which provides a nice tropical atmosphere, but it can get hot if you're waiting for a while.

Location is away from the city but only a short taxi or bike ride. The grounds are set right on the river and in a quiet, relaxing area.

This is a lovely peaceful hotel set in extensive grounds by the river outside Hue. The staff were very attentive and the room was very tastefully decorated.

The highlight for us was the swimming pool which was larger and deeper than those of other hotels we have visited. (It had a shallower end with a barrier to the main pool for children, and supplied life-jackets for non-swimmers). We spent happy hours diving and playing around.

Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The room was nice and spacious and mosquito nets were provided.

Room Tip: As the hotel is out of town, be ready to catch a 10-15 minute taxi ride to get into town.

Excellent service. Very good breakfast and very good food all day . Nice and clean pool with towels. Nice room but the beds are very hard, not comfortablres at all. Free bikes is very appreciated to go on the little roads around the hotel.

The hotel is located far from city center, but all temples are far from Hué citadel. We rented a private car for 3 hours that the hotel arranged for us to visit 3 main temples/tombs (26€ With private driver)
Rooms are spacious and clean with nice inner and outside bathroom.
Breakfast very complete and good, and swimmingpool is amazing.
Staff is helpful and speak good English.
We also used bikes for free to discover the town around the ecolodge.
I recommend the hotel!

Usually, I did not expect much with the price of 40~50 US$ per night. However, it turned out to be very good value: a bungalow with cool facilities, a clean nice swimming pool, good breakfast and friendly service. Its beauty is from the surrounding nature, which are the ancient "thanh tra" garden, the famous Perfume river, the local life around. No TV, very less electronic device, just you and nature (but air-con is still there). I could not remember the last time I had such a good sleep.
There are still some room to improve such as: food is not as delicious as normal Hue food, too few acclivities to do (only cycling), staff are friendly but not so much professional...Location is a bit far from downtown but they provide shuttle bus to town so you still can enjoy more fun at night.
If you love nature and want to explore real Hue local life, this resort is for you.

A stunning location, massive gardens, privacy. A little out of town but very easily accessible with nightly free bus and also the organised boat tour was great and recommended way to see major sites. Staff were always helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. Great breakfast and amazing, large pool. Wonderful place to relax.

The second time does not make me disappointed. It remains the quiteness, friendly, clean and warm hospitality. After one year, they have had new bungalow, charming and rural. My family booked 1 triple rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids but they upgraded to Junior Deluxe connecting rooms. Apprecitated. Spa, restaurant and surroundings look more beautiful than ever. I hope come back many times in future.

Staying at Hue Ecolodge was an absolute delight. The service was impeccable, with the staff displaying genuine warmth and attentiveness throughout my stay. The bungalows, nestled within the enchanting Pomelo Garden, offered a unique blend of comfort and natural beauty. Waking up to the sights and scents of the garden was a truly rejuvenating experience. Additionally, the lodge's convenient location made it easy for me to explore the nearby Thien Mu Pagoda, adding an extra layer of cultural enrichment to my visit. I can confidently say that Hue Ecolodge provides an idyllic retreat for anyone seeking a perfect balance between comfort, nature, and cultural exploration in Hue.

We came here with our 2 kids, also based on previous good reviews.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with reality.

The road to get here is already, let's say, adventurous, but ok, we knew it isn't at the city centre (our taxi driver asked us to tip him more because the road is so bad and he needs a lot of time to get back... From the centre of Hue it's about 30 minutes, and around 150K Dong/6€/6$).

The buildings look nice enough and newish, but the grounds look unfinished, with a lot of stuff lying around, mostly dead organic material and fallen fruit. It comes across like someone had started tending to things, but stopped half way through.

The people are friendly, we've experienced nothing else in Vietnam, but there's a bit of professionalism missing all across.

The room itself was nicely styled and clean, the bed (very) hard, and we found no safe.

We've only had breakfast here, no buffet as there weren't enough guests apparently, which was definitely not the best we've had during our trip around Vietnam.

Overall we wouldn't come here again, but would probably take a hotel located more centrally, especially for a short stay, as from here, you'll not be able to experience Hue that easily.

We usually choose this resort when we come to visit Hue because of its peaceful atmosphere, nice rooms and friendly staffs. We really love this place! On the third time, we forgot our mobile phone but the cleaning staff called us to take it back. There is one more reason that makes us come back. Highly recommend!
