Friendly & helpful staff. Location close to Ben Thanh markets and night food markets. Great little roof top bar and pool (only small area but still great). Will stay here again for sure :-). They organised our tours no hassles at all and buffet breakfast had great selection.
Upon arriving at this hotel we were greeted warmly. I was impressed with the Japanese style decor of the hotel both inside and out and instantly felt relaxed. Our room was great, very clean. We had the room that was closest to the lovely rooftop bar (which closes at 10pm we found - I wish they stayed open a little longer!), which overlooks the small swimming pool (heated and definitely worth a dip!). Upstairs was the steam room, sauna and showers, and towels are provided. We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and had a great time. We enjoyed the afternoon tea (included for us) at 3pm on two occasions where they had live music - authentic Vietnamese music playing some classic tunes. If you like your English tea strong make sure you pour the milk in yourself. The breakfast was
Its not 5 star accom but if you want a great place thats right in the middle of everything and very quiet in the rooms then this is the place. We stayed here for a few nights and the service is excellent and location excellent. Rooms are slightly dated but everything works and the bed is comfy. We went on a trip up Mekong and when we returned they put us on a bus to go to our hotels. As we were getting near the rest of the bus was commenting at how nice the area was and that they should book there next time. Then we stopped at our hotel and they all wrote the name down. Its not the Hyatt but its not a dive either. Wld stay again every single time.
I used to recommend my clients for staying in Duc Vuong hotel. Anyone is very happy to enjoy the experience in this place as staffs are friendly, clean room, good breakfast, and woo very great look overview of walking street. I will more recommend. Cheers guys
This hotel is in the middle of District 1, near several restaurants, bars and night life. It is an old building, with split level floors and rooms. We had a room near the busy street, but the noise was acceptable. Good airport transfers, good and friendly service, staff and a travel service at the basement, where we booked a trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At night the roof top bar is great, cool and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good.
