Hôtel des Arts Saigon - MGallery stands out for its prime location, making it a favorite for guests eager to explore the city's attractions. The opulent rooftop pool and bar, alongside a variety of dining options, enhance the hotel's appeal. While the rooms receive acclaim for their spacious and luxurious design, issues with noise and cleanliness have been noted. The hotel's 1920s elegance and decor are admired, though the vibrant rooftop music isn't everyone's tempo. Service is largely commendable, but the value proposition receives mixed reviews, with some deeming the drinks costly.

As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby you feel a sense of calm wash over you. In just moments the hustle and bustle of the wonderful city of Saigon (as it's still referred to by local people) feels a million miles away. The welcome is professional and warm, the decor exudes Parisienne elegance.

Don't miss out on the hotel breakfast, it's spectacular and there's something for everyone. We started day 1 with the comfort of familiar foods like omelette, cheeses and french pastries. By day 3 nothing was going to keep us away from the Pho and Bahn Mi!

The rooftop infinity pool and bar are a destination in themselves. If you enjoy good beats, cocktails, stunning views and a chance to dress up this is your spot.

All in all a gem of a place with impeccable service standards to match.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel des Arts and were amazed by the beautiful design of the hotel and our room. Everything was detailed and on top of that, beautifully decorated for Vietnamese Lunar New Year. The staff was very attentive and friendly (greeting customers, opening the door, helping us to find the right spots to eat during Lunar New Year while everything was closed). Upon check-out, we requested to leave the room later, as we had a late flight. The staff immediately gave us until 3pm and access to the pool after. The roomservice was impeccable (even our phone charger was rolled up neatly).

The best part for us was the rooftop bar and pool, with an amazing view over the city. The music during the evenings was one of the best! Nothing compared to most places in Vietnam, very modern, funky jazz and lounge.

One recommendation would be to add some lounge chairs to the pool, as it quickly gets filled up. Personally, being Vietnamese, I thought the menu was a bit Westernized and the food taste not on par with the price (perhaps adjusted for Western taste, which would be a shame).

Overall we loved getting out of the hustle and bustle of the city and back into the tranquility of our room. Would definitely book again next time!

We spent 3 nights in the hotel out of which we had 2 nights loud disco music until 1 am in the morning.
The hotel is very stylish with a pleasant ambiente, unfortunatly this does not compensate the noise level.
Staff was very helpful and was offering alternative rooms or earplugs, but who wants to change rooms at midnight or sleep with earplugs in a 5 star hotel??
At the end and after some discussion we received a 50% discount for 1 night.

Dear iskowi_10, Thank you for your time to share your personal experience of your most recent stay at Hôtel des Arts Saigon. It is unfortunate to read that your expectations were not met, and although with the Room Move offer in the following day, we could not fully undo what happened during the first night. We were, however, able to finally make a very exceptional offer for you in the last hope to recover your experience, especially during the new year holiday season. As shared with your during your departure, we have taken note in this occasion and have already taken measures to avoid similar occurrence in the future. Once again, we thank you for staying with us nevertheless and for taking the time to share your review, and we wish you a pleasant and successful start into 2020. With my best regards, Amy Tran Guest Experience Manager.

Hotel des Arts has fully hit the ground running after some difficult times for everyone in the hospitality industry and once again their strong priorities and SOP have made them once again one of the best properties in Southern Vietnam without argument.

Upon returning to the property, we were delighted to be met by the head of FO and to find that every minute detail for our family’s check in had been taken care of in advance. From a lovely welcome gift that followed our dietary restrictions, to a baby bath tub, to a meticulously clean baby bed with complimentary teddy bear for our son, and even a soft bathrobe for our 2 YO daughter were all lovingly set up by the room service team. All in all our check in took 5 minutes and every element of the room had been taken care of in advance, a true delight for every parent that has to endure travel with 2 very young kids. We were extremely grateful to the housekeeping team for their due diligence.

Beyond the wonderful check in process, my family loved the quiet rooftop pool that doubled as a trendy hang out spot overlooking the skyline of Saigon at night. Food options at the roof bar were also reasonable and the FB team had created some nice cocktails on offer as well. Plus, the wifi was strong enough on the roof to be able to get some work done up there while the rest of my family napped.

And lastly, we were delighted upon our return to find that the full breakfast experience had been reopened and there was a large diversity of cuisine on offer each morning to choose from with the help of Chef Amy who was heading up their restaurant’s ‘resurrection’ at the time of our stay. They even had an expert on dim sum on staff so we all loved the daily fresh choices from their dim sum master. Though the service and response from wait staff at breakfast needed a bit more training, we had to say that we felt filled and rather disinterested in having lunch each day as a result of the hearty brekky.

All around, for families or couples looking for a nice staycation or a proper place to relax after a long day exploring in Saigon, there are few better options in the city. The quality of the modern professional hospitality cannot be understated and the property is a credit to the MGallery line of Accor. We most certainly will be back on our next visit.

Read some reviews which mentioned noise so rang day before arrival and requested a quiet room. Got an end corner room on 11th and no probs at all with noise. Really classy hotel in a good central location. Breakfast was amazing with so many different choices including 8 different smoothies, cooked to order pancakes and eggs, oriental meal choices etc. Asked if we wanted later checkout than standard 1200 and stayed till 1400 for no extra charge. Would use again

What an amazing hotel in the middle of the city, peaceful and quiet. The service is outstanding from the front desk team (the whole team as I interacted with all of them) as they added small details on a daily basis, the housekeeping (Ms Thuy) paying attention to the details while cleaning the room, as while taking the extra to ensure your personal items are safe

Even while sitting at the pool and enjoying a drink, the team is there to ensure if you need anything.

Awesome service Awesome staff Awesome place

Love it

We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Many of the staff speak French as well as excellent English, so it is great for French and English speakers. We ate at least once in each bar and restaurant and all were excellent. Their famous Sunday brunch was not available due to the Tet holiday, but just a reason for us to go back again sometime. The location was great, so easy to walk around district 1 and also convenient to get taxis to district 2 in about a 20 mins drive. The rooftop pool was a great place to relax during the day with amazing views and a nice place to grab a drink after the sun goes down. The breakfast is absolutely amazing with every type of food. Lots of choices for meat lovers, veggies, and vegans. The bahn mi’s at breakfast and in the lobby restaurant on the ground floor were the best we had the whole trip (although would have been great to have a veggie option as well). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our friend who had a massage at the hotel said it was one of the best she’s had. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ho Chi Min.

It's a nice hotel and staff is very nice, but compared to other hotels it has not yet progressed to higher sustainability standards. Water in the rooms comes in small aluminium cans, as a couple you easily consume 10 per day, considering the nr of rooms, that is a huge amount of waste every day. Recycling aluminium is very energy intensive, so it is absolutely not green. Many other hotels use refillable water bottles which produce zero waste and are also more stylish. They even claim on the can that aluminium is the most sustainable packaging material in the world which is a completely wrong statement. There is only one water dispenser in the gym to refill your bottle. Otherwise they boil water which is again energy waste and kills germs but doesn't filter heavy metals from the water. Bathroom products come in plastic containers. Whoever is the sustainability manager at Accor must be deep asleep.

Dear 72stephanu, We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the Hôtel des Arts Saigon - MGallery. Thank you for your positive review on hotel and staff, I will share your comments with our team. On a side note, the hotel and Accor are working on better options for water bottle options as well as revised bathroom amenities to replace single use plastic and to be more sustainable in the future. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one. With best regards, Anh Nguyen Assistant Guest Experience Manager

warmly hosted by Hieu, Bao @social club, taken cared by Ha, Hien during Canape time and Thinh during breakfast time. Thank F&B for an attentive and sincere service making up the shortage of dining quality due to Covid-19.
Nevertheless, shocked with the lack of genuine & professional level by FO supervisor Ms “U”. Booked a deluxe and she gave diamond guest a deluxe without View to the city (1911), i tried to explain the price which she wrongly assumed as 2 category upgrade (deluxe with executive lounge access) was simply increased to cover executive lounge benefit whilst Diamond like me didnt need to pay for what was entitled. Immediately asked her to check my profile preference at checkin time (bathtub is a must in my profile, she never checked anw). After pretending to the screen for 30 seconds (im used to this bahavior), Supervisor “U” falsely advised that higher category room was not avail as i demanded, ha ha i showed apps with dozens avail grand deluxe rooms and suite. Straightforwardly i told her to use my Suite nite upgrade if she is not keen to offer free one. The lady “U” contintued to provise fake smile and asked me to go to “deluxe room without proper view” first and would come back to me later on application of suite nite upgrade. She never called back. Not just this, miss U failed to advise my full benefit and didnot provide benefit letter to confirm this whilst she confidently said that it was in my room (not advised me on free mini bar, breakfast hours on which restaurant, confidently and wrongly advised canape hours.. shame). Still dont understand whilst ignorance became the signature of MGallery FO.

Prices are higher than in the usual restaurants nearby, the social club offers good European cuisine. in the second floor you have the breakfast area and also restaurant during the day with a great and delicious variety of food served rooftop pool bar offers burgers and some dishes like fried squid and other appetisers, they also have a great variety of drinks - my favourite is the Long Island ice tea - well prepared and during happy hour very well priced.
