We chose to stay a night in this dorm, well located, and pretty quiet if other people don't make noise. Breakfast is not included but there s a market one minute away in the street with pastries. However, toilets and bathroom need to be better maintained, plus hot shower was not working in one of the two showers that are available. Beds are confy and pretty clean. Wi-Fi is good.
Staff doesn't speak english so not very easy. Location is okay but not amazing. Small but good breakfast. Bathroom is a bit dirty but room is okay, big beds, air conditioning, free water, relatively calm area.
PROS - The beds were big enough - Two huge lockers underneath the bed - Electrical sockets available - Common sink area was clean - Free Wi-Fi - Friendly staff CONS - Bathroom was dirty - Bathroom door was a little faulty - Shower head wasn't working well OVERALL 3 La Hostel is a great hostel for budget-travellers or backpackers. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at midnight and the male staff who opened the door welcomed us warmly. We made a few friends in the dorm too. :) Overall, the hostel is great but it would be better if there were sanitary conditions of higher standards.
Just knew that it was a hostel located above a vegetarian restaurant upon check in. The bed sheet and blanket is not clean as I got bed bug bites throughout the night. When I request to change the bed sheet and blanket next day, the staff are helpful but they ran out of clean bed sheet that day! There are only two toilets for bath and the door lock and water heater was broken. Though the hostel is quiet after 10am as it was not located in the heart of backpackers district.
A dorm room with mix female and male inside. The staffs was not friendly enough, Only one guy was sooo friendly and nice. Oh I forgot to ask his name LOL. No breakfast, the bathroom should be more clean..., Couldn't use wifi in the room only in the lobby. Anyway the foods on veggie resto under stair is very good, delicious with good price. Location : near by Central station and Ban Tanh market; enable to take a bus or motorbike.
