Came back from Dalat, and decided to stay for a night in HCMC before going to Rach Gia. We were rushing and just booked this instead. STUPID IDEA. We had no idea the hotel would be in an alley. It's not a big problem, although it'd be nicer if we had a different view. Anyways, the lobby is clean and...

I stayed here for 3D/2N when I was traveling on my own because I read positive reviews about it on Tripadvisor and so I know what to expect from a small, cheap hotel. I just needed a place that's safe, clean, and at least mildly comfortable - and this is what Blue River provides. Don't look for a spring bed,...

We loved this small family-run hotel, situated in a quiet alley, and stayed there on 1st and last nights of our vacation. Recently renovated, the rooms are spotless; the service couldn't be friendlier. Thuy and Hai at reception both speak excellent English which is good when you first arrive in a new country. Ask Hai to direct you to the...

Never come across my mind tht a budget hotel with very very affortable price can offer such a five star service! Thuy is very helpful and shared with my friend and i on the shopping tip. When she heard of we being conned by a taxi driver (we actually only needed to pay 50,000 dong but he misled us to...

This was the last of the hotels we stayed in on our Vietnam trip, and it had the quietest rooms so we were not woken up by moped beeps which was much appreciated! Even though the hotel is located in the Pham Ngu Lao area which is Saigon's backpacker district and quite lively, the side street it is on did...

Nice, clean rooms, quiet at night. Staff very sweet, helpful. They have free internet, there is only couple negative things; located in hidden tiny street, and narrow stairs.

We had a great stay due to the staff and the cleanliness of this hotel. Tan Thuy, the manager, was cheerful and helpful as were all the staff. The recommended travel agents, restaurants and activities that were always what was promised. The rooms were clean and well kept and breakfast, included, was simple but tasty. We have children and they...

If you are in Ho Chi Minh City don't stay anywhere else except this lovely place. Yes it's not as swish as some of the 'upmarket' hotels, but here you will have a great welcome from Thuy the wonderful concierge, receptionist, organiser and friend. It's a brilliant introduction to naughty old Saigon and I wouldn't have missed it for the...

This hotel was refered to me by travelers I had met In Ha Noi several months earlier. I never got the name out of my mind or their delight with the staff, location and facility. All they said was factual. It is a very quiet location and is certinly "tucked away" from the noise of central Ho Chi Minh City....
