I was advised not to book in advance in Vietnam because the prices online are actually higher. It being a holiday week I booked two nights a fairly cheap budget hotel just in case. As soon as we arrived we knew we had to change after those two nights. Found Tripwriter by accident while walking down the lane it's located...

The hotel was clean and charming, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is very well located, and is a short walk from Ben Thanh market. There was free flow bottled water, coffee and tea! The rooms are slightly aged (e.g there were some loose tiles in the bathroom), but overall it was comfortable!

My friends booked accommodation, the reason why she choose this hotel is good feedback on the internet. The place is easy to find what I expected and the building is maintained well & keep clean. The staff Jason gave us good advise to change the money, place to eat and one day tour. He made our trip memorable trip even...

Surprisingly quiet for the area. The room was adequate, with a fridge and free bottled water. The breakfast was OK, but gets a bit boring after a while. FREE bottle of beer during happy hour was a plus, and their skewers were really good. Too bad the service is a little lacking and be prepared to wait...

Very good hotel, centrally located in Ho Chi Minh. Bars, shops and restaurants less than 100m away but still possible to get a good nights sleep. Easy walk to the markets, post office, parks, and the notre dame. Rooms are of a comfortable standard, when we arrived there was no free water but the next day water had been left...

It made me got distracted to find hotel. But, as soon as I adapted the circumstances I realized that the hotel location is...

We have travelled around Vietnam for a month and stayed in plenty of hotels. This one was the worst price/value hotel. Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The room is very dark. There was no shampoo, no soap, no complimentary water. Bed was very hard. Wifi did not work. Water pressure in shower so weak that we couldn't have shower....

Very closed by to all the actions on Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien Street but still within walking distances to Ben Thanh market, Saigon Square, Opera House and most attractions in District 1. The hotel is actually located in a small lane but it's not too difficult to find. Nice and quiet. Simple but tastefully done decorations. Staff are...
