We arrived in hcmc around 1am and good thing we have found this accommodation in PNL area. (Pham Ngu Lao) for $15 double room you will get what you paid for. Good A/C, tv with cable, Comfort room is ok, bed was already "wearing down" since i can already feel the spring making it uncomfortable for me to sleep at... More

After finally completing our ride from Hanoi to HCMC, we were surprised at the warm welcome we received in Saigon, especially from the family running Y Nghi. I expected city hotels to be bland and uninterested in foreigners, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The room was a good price and they were kind enough to put us on... More

We (my girlfriend and I both 25) had originally planned to stay in the place opposite (mai guesthouse) in the alley but when we arrived at 6am off our overnight bus we could not check in there til 2pm. The owner kindly helped us with our bags to y nhi guesthouse, which was literally just opposite. Turns out the owners... More

Stayed here last year and when I returned did not hesitate to stay again, stayed for one month then had month in cambodia and had another 2 month stay when I returned, previous guest said they did not leave clean towels or toilet roll, all they had to do was ask and they would have been given all they need!... We knew this was a basic guesthouse, but they were not really able to provide a comfortable stay. We booked many months in advance for lunar new year, but when we arrived they had no idea about our booking and said they were full. Of course there was a larger room than what we had booked, so they urged us... More

We stayed here 2 nights over Chinese New Year. It is hidden away down a narrow alley along with numerous other family-run Guest houses, small eateries and home businesses - a smorgasbord of everyday Vietnamese life! The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The room would benefit by having the walls washed but the bed and tiled floor were clean... More

This guesthouse is in a great location, in an alley on the main street. There is a lovely restaurant nearby where we had lunch/dinner a couple of times, good food and cheap prices. The owners are lovely always smiling and saying hello. The rooms are clean with cable TV and WiFi.

We have stayed here once and are planning to stay on our next visit. It's a budget hotel so you can't expect too much. It's clean enough and the owners really seem to care about their guests. Very friendly. But the reason i recommend it most is because i love the location. It is in a narrow alley that has... More

I check this hotel via booking.com. Good recomendation, the place was good (center of HCMC and close the bus station for the bus from airport and the buses to Cambodia-Vietnam) and the price also. The reception was very good and helpfull for all your questions, plus you can find a lot of tourist books to read in the reception. I... More
