My husband and I stayed here for two nights in December 2015. Rooms were small but comfortable and clean, location was good, we walked to all the major sights. Tons of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood plus the bus fro Mui Ne dropped off nearby.

The guesthouse is located in a small dark alley, where you can see the life of the locals, but I would be affraid to walk there alone, so it is better for groups. The guesthouse is small but cozy. It is ok for staying couple of days. The rooms are cheap, bathrooms are clean. Minibar has good prices. The guesthouse... More

I honestly cannot fault this guesthouse. If you are looking for 5 star accommodation this is not for you but if you are looking for a perfect little guesthouse where you can't help but smile then this place is ideal! The rooms were basic and incredibly clean. The shower always hot and towels provided. The owners of this hotel cannot... More

Me and my boyfriend needed to stop by Saigon for one night and decided to stay in the backpackers area so we try to find the best reviewed place under 25 euros and we found this Guesthouse on booking.com. It was a bit shock when I went in the tiny alley to find the address since the alley is like... More

It’s a family owned hotel in the backpacker district of Ho Chi Minh City, very close by restaurants and bars. The room are nice, but a bit smelly, nothing too disgusting. The staff is nice, and helpful: they woke up at 5.30am to get us a cheap taxi for the airport.

I thought the location was great (close to Bui Vien Street, but in a local alleyway). The hosts were helpful when organizing trips involving tour guides, etc. Not as helpful when you want to organize something on your own. The rooms are just ok. The hosts are friendly. The location between Phan Ngu Lao and Bui Vien is fun and... More

Stayed there for two nights. Room was okay clean and okay nice. We could hear street noise and party music during the night. Nice view though (5th floor). And there is an elevator. Bathroom was a bit small and uncomfortable. Overall okay but nothing exceptional.

Two girlfriends and I were traveling through for a few days and found this gem. It's right in the heart of the backpacker area (District 1), but is down a quiet back alley so you get zero noise from the street. The family that runs it speak English, are incredibly helpful and nice. Everything was clean and exactly the right... More

We stayed here for two nights. It's located in an alley of the centre of Phan Ngu Lao area. Tons of local food inside this busy alley, and they are relatively cheaper than what you can find on the main streets. Hotel owner, the couple is nice, but they seem to be forgetting stuffs a lot of times. I need... More

Thanh Ha is located down a side alley away from the noise of the main streets, Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien. But it is still conveniently close to all the action in District 1, known locally as Ku Tay Ba Lo or the Backpackers area. The Guest house is clean and the managers are friendly and helpful.
