Having stayed here before, I thought it would be the perfect location for my shopping trip in Ho Chi Minh. After a long day I went to my room had a lovely steak delivered by room service and settled in for the evening with a bottle of wine and a good book. At 6:30am the pounding and drilling and construction on the floor above me started. I wasn’t advised of this upon checkin and when I called the front desk they said I could move to another room. ??? What?? No way. And then at 7:30am housekeeping is banging on the door to clean the room with my do not disturb light clearly illuminated. Not a pleasant stay this time. The beds and pillows could be updated and the cleanliness wasn’t up to par.
The hotel smell like 50 years old without renovation, it is not like the pictures. Dirty Carpet on the floor, bad quality of amenities and dryer won’t work. Location is awesome just like the persons that work on the hotel, really good service from them.
I was tried after flying and reached the hotel. It’s a very nice hotel. Staff are very courteous and the room!!! The room is really nice among all the hotels I’d stayed. Comfortable and clean. Unique in its own ways. The breakfast is superb. A variety of dishes and fruits. Not much but adequate. Tourist attraction is within walking distance and the Catholic Church is just a few minutes walk away.
Only had one night at this hotel on finishing our trip of Vietnam and Cambodia. The hotel is central for visiting many of the sites in Saigon. The accommodation is good, the staff are helpful and friendly and the restaurant offers quality food. All in a good hotel to stay in.
Hotel was excellent. Clean and comfortable and the staff was attentive and helpful at all times. The location is in a busy area of Saigon, so expect chock-a-block traffic choking the roads all around the hotel during rush hours. We ate several meals in the hotel which were very good.
Located close to the night market, big and comfortable rooms, very polite stuff, big and diverse breakfast.fresh fruit everyday in the room, Bear and soda free of charge in the room, Highly recommended
We stayed here for one night. On arrival we were upgraded to a Suite which was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The extras of robes, toiletries, complimentary water and soft drink, etc. Was a nice touch. The suite was very clean too. The reception staff were very attentive and helpful. Although the reception air con was set a little on the cool side. Since we had a late flight booked we were allowed to keep the room until 7pm with no extra cost. This was really appreciated as we were able to shower before our long haul flight. The hotel was centrally located and close to all the main sights. We ate in the restaurant before catching our flight and the food was fantastic. Loved the live piano music as we ate. Not caddy priced either.
Stayed for 2 nights. First impression, customer service is fast, attentive and polite. Checkin was fast and easy, staff are attentive to carry the luggages. The room is a but dated but cozy and enough lights. The bed is clean and comfortable, pillows are not so soft though, my neck was slightly sore in the morning. The toilet is clean, shower has strong water pressure and can select hot or cold shower. Breakfast buffet has just enough selection of western and vietnamese breakfast, bacon are especially thin and crisp. And restaurant staff are especially polite and attentive to guests. Overall, a pleasant stay in the hotel.
The Norfolk Hotel is by far one of the best hotels I stay in, the team always remember me and have a warm welcome, The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location suits my needs. The restaurant offers a good variety with great service.
Lovely hotel in an excellent location. We stayed for two nights in September. On the second night (Saturday) we were disturbed by a lot of loud construction work in the neighbouring building. Completely NOT the hotels fault yet they were very apologetic and helpful.
