Here for eleven nights- combination business and pleasure. Took advice of other reviews and booked pool view room. Very quite and peaceful. A little noise with kids in the pool but zero street noise. Service excellent and outstanding breakfast. Rooftop bar and fifth floor restaurant still gives plenty of chances for river watching. Lobby is great place to relax. Christmas...

We enjoyed the colonial style of the hotel with very nice large rooms and updated amenities. The only things keeping this place from a 5 were the slow elevators, unreliable wifi and expensive drinks on the terrace. Overall a very nice experience to come to on our first Vietnam stop.

We stayed here for three nights as we visited HCMC and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Majestic. The staff were incredibly friendly and the upgrade to the suite was a wonderful and appreciated touch (thank you, Vy!). The hotel is perfectly situated and is very accessible to the main sites of which a majority are within walking distance. The breakfast...

My wife and I, both seniors, stayed at the Majestic for 2 nights. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us a 4th floor overlooking the side street and partially the river. The hotel is old but classic and everything worked well. Breakfast at the 5th floor was excellent and so was location. Service was also excellent.

This is a very nice 'old school' hotel in the heart of Saigon. If you want to feel like you have been transported back 60+ years - this is the hotel for you. The communal areas of the hotel are very grand and ornate, as you would expect from a classic old hotel. The rooms are fine - and it...

Second visit. Must have been blind the first time to return. Hotel building is beautiful and staff lovely. The room is where the problems lie. The shower impossible to use with it constantly switching back to bathtub mode. No PowerPoint for hairdryer. One barely working PowerPoint in the whole room. We had to prop it up with various items to...

Hotel Majestic pulled out all the stops for our last few days in Vietnam. We got a river view room and while it can be a little noisy with roadside traffic the view made up for it. The staff were extremely helpful, and this place has all the qualities of a premier property in the U.S. Close to all major...

A wonderful old hotel on the riverfront of old Saigon. Service was impeccable and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. Though it struck us as odd that while staying in May 2016, that the upper floor hallways were not air conditioned. No matter, the room was fine. The view of the traffic from below our room, while not intrusive, made...

If you like old world charm the hotel is fine. The location is quite good I think for the city. The staff was fine or even better than fine, quite accommodating up until my very last evening and check out. I originally was supposed to check out on 24 November. Evening of the 23rd I went to the desk and...

The traditional luxury hotel in the same model as the Taj in Mumbai though not quite in the same league. Still very good with excellent staff. Good breakfast. Close to the attractions and opera house, night market etc.
