Detailed Reviews
This is a wonderful hotel. Great, quiet rooms and fantastic service, even by the high standards of Vietnam. The small, friendly hotel is right in the centre of the city. It's a good idea to book an airport transfer with the hotel; it's reasonably priced and they will arrange willing and friendly help to get your bags down the short walk to the hotel itself. We arrived very early in the day and were offered tea, coffee and good advice while our room was prepared. The breakfast is very good, too: ask for the fabulous omelette! We stayed three nights between flights from London and to New Zealand, and would strongly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 6 days from 22 Jan to 27 Jan 2020. This is our first trip to HCMC but we didn't have any problem to take the public bus from the international airport to nearby Ben Thant Market and walked about 5 minutes to this hotel. Using Google Map and GPS made it very easy for us to find this hotel hidden from the main road.
The hotel isn't big by any means but the hotel room has a modern contemporary design and it is clean and tidy. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The place is very quiet at night. Breakfast served at the hotel has a variety of local and western cuisine, including an egg station. We enjoyed the local food menu which varies every day.
The hotel staff are courteous and friendly. Kelly was especially helpful to guide us on the walking routes to places of interests, arrange tour bookings and make restaurant reservations. The chambermaid is a sweet elderly lady who took good care of our room, she managed to find me a cover for my shaver without me asking, and she alerted us when we checked out and almost left behind an item at the roof terrace.
We chose this hotel as it is very centrally located with numerous tourist attractions and amenities within short walking distance. It is also excellent value for money. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to HCMC.

but well worth the effort when you do!! Lovely room, good breakfast, incredibly friendly staff - and all at an amazingly (low) price. Not the most scenic location - but who's bothered about that in the centre of Saigon> Great restaurants nearby, if you're a shopaholic, Ben Thien market is just round the corner. All facilities at the hotel worked perfectly - aircon was amazingly quiet, No problem in recommending it.

Dear 1357ACEG, Many thanks for being patient to find our "hidden" little Saigon Boutique and all the team are very happy to hear that we exceeded your expectations and we were able to provide you with an amazing stay. Our address is 36/2 Le Loi Street and there are a very famous Ice Cream Shop called: Bach Dang Ice Cream at 28 Le Loi ( right at the corner between Le Loi & Pasteur street ), you alight at Bach Dang, then walk backward to Ben Thanh Market around 20 meters to the address 36 Le Loi and our Little Saigon are just inside the quite Alleyway. Your kind words will be passed to the entire team to encourage and keep them up to their good work. Again, we appreciated your comment and 5 star rating on TripAdvisor. Me and my mom stayed in this lovely Boutique Hotel which is located in the town center, I cant fault in this hotel because every thing was perfect from check in until we check out the staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and with set up free water, tea and coffee, You can find cans of drinks in the minibar if you dont want to go out to buy outside. The bed is so comfy i cant imagine I slept very well and i feel very relaxing when i woke up in the morning to see the nice view in our balcony. The bathroom is clean and it passed to my standard size. The hotel is nearly to the shopping malls, restaurants, and to the tourist spot.So for those who have plans to visit Saigon i will recommend Little Saigon Boutique Hotel as your next accommodation. I am pretty sure we will comeback again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I thought his place would be difficult to find because it is at the end of an alley, but it is easy to find because the alley opens off a huge Main Street and is opposite the Saigon Centre shopping mall. The alley is another world with several small coffee shops and traditional food stalls which shelter you from any street noise.
The front and reception of the hotel are clean and pretty and the receptionists, particularly the lady in the yellow Ao Dai, are very friendly, helpful and welcoming . The 60s styling of the rooms is quite subtle. They look fresh and modern rather than vintage and have black and white photographic murals of 60s Saigon. There is a good breakfast buffet downstairs with eggs cooked to order and some hot Vietnamese foods.
I was very happy with this small urban hotel and always felt that the staff wanted to make my stay a pleasant one.

On first arrival, one might be put off by it's location – at the end of a typically shabby narrow alleyway with small cafes, spa, restaurant and shop either side. However, to me, the location just added some Vietnamese character to the place and I found the cafes and shop very convenient.
Despite being only a matter of metres away from a very busy main traffic route the hotel was very quiet and was an oasis of calm amid the constant honking of horns and general craziness of the city traffic.
But what a perfect choice this little hotel was – bang in the middle of District 1 with so many attractions, bars, shops and restaurants within such easy walking distance that I never had to use a taxi other than as part of a tour. There was even a surprisingly good pizza place (Logic Pizza) barely 50 metres away for occasional 'comfort food'!
Opposite the alley way entrance, on the other side of the busy road, is the Saigon Centre with it's shopping mall and excellent basement supermarket.
Also in the basement is a Foreign Exchange desk which gave me the best rate for my Thai Baht – 640VND for 1THB compared to 630 at the airport and, shockingly, only 400 offered by the hotel (simply because they had to use their bank's rate. Banks are clearly not the best places to exchange currency!).
I stayed five nights but had booked a Standard Room which was very small and windowless. I tried to upgrade to a Superior or DeLuxe Room but the hotel was fully booked. However, as a solo traveller, the room was perfectly adequate although a couple would undoubtedly keep bumping into each other!
Although small, the room was very clean and well equipped with a daily freshen up.
The bed was the most comfortable I ever remember sleeping in – if the mattress was available in Thailand I would have ordered one for my bed at home!
The 'restaurant' was really only there to serve breakfast and an occasional coffee.
In keeping with the size of the hotel, the restaurant was similarly small although their breakfast buffet was certainly not! A wide and varied selection to suit most requirements with eggs cooked to order.
In the time that I stayed I never saw the few tables fully occupied but then I'm an early riser and was always there soon after it opened at 6.30am!
As for the hotel staff, well, I can't praise them enough. Whether reception, security, catering or cleaning, ALL were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Reception staff arranged all my tours and taxi requirements. They were also keen to get any feedback on my tour experiences, good or bad, so that they in turn could feedback to the tour companies.
Good hotel staff are an essential part of the guest experience - they are the 'beating heart' of any hotel operation.
Little Saigon is certainly a little hotel with a big heart!

Hotel may be a little tough to locate upon arrival due to ongoing construction of the metro line (Grab/ taxi would drop you off at the main road/entrance of a popular ice cream parlour. Just walk straight down the stretch of shops, look our for a 24 hour mart before turning in to an alley where the hotel is situated). Other than that, the hotel is very strategically located (approx 2 mins walk from Saigon Centre and Saigon Square, approx 5 mins walk from Bin Thanh Market and approx 15 mins walk from Notre Dame Cathedral/ GPO).
As the hotel reception isn't situated at the ground level, staff assisted us with our luggages up the flight of stairs. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Being our first time in HCM, we were not too sure of the area and staff were very helpful by giving clear directions.
Our room was clean and cosy, and had a minibar with complimentary water, tea and instant coffee, which will be topped up everyday.
Breakfast is at the coffeehouse on the ground level. Limited selection but the food has a very homely feel to it (Do not miss the chicken macaroni. The soup is superb!) We particularly liked how we can enjoy our breakfast while watching the locals start their day.
A special shoutout to hotel staff Kelly, who never failed to greet us with a smile, gave good recommendations of what we can expect at the Bin Thanh night market and where to get good Banh Mi. Also a shoutout to the 2 porter staff (didn't manage to get their names) who were also very friendly and polite, helping us with our luggages upon arrival and departure, and even offered to help us with our luggages all the way to the main road and hail a cab to the airport (which we politely declined in the end!)
Overall, our stay here was very very pleasant and yes, it truly is a Home away from Home. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting HCM!

Very central downtown location. Run by welcoming Vietnamese staff, a special note for the careful Kelly.
In the shine, airy, nicely decorated breakfast room they serve classic Vietnamese soups and omelettes filling of your choice.
It is certainly a convenient to book here!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a smile by the kind porter who carried our bags to Reception followed by a more brilliant smile from the beautiful receptionist Kelly who voluntarily upgraded our room as returning guests. We always looked forward to breakfast which did not disappoint with an array of fresh fruits, cooked and continental breakfast selection - our favourite is the omelette and chicken pho soup. (cost all included). The team is very professional, very helpful and very hospitable. Kelly and Shawn (at reception) helped us navigate our way through gastronomic experiences around the city, highlighting important landmarks to visit. Rosa did a magnificent job cleaning our room - much appreciated for weary travellers. The team at Little Saigon Boutique Hotel comprising of Shawn, Rosa, Ricky, Peter, Daniel, Kelly, Will, Nick and Muoi should be very proud. Little Saigon Boutique Hotel is small but 5 star in their service and all the amenities provided are of a very high caliber. There are a lot of foreigners that stay for leisure and business travel (like us). It is no wonder, the off-street location along an alley (feels like you are in a 1950’s movie set in downtown Saigon) and the close proximity to food hubs, shopping, museums, the Mekong river, etc makes it very easy to get around on foot. We are really happy and grateful that among the sprout of 5 star hotel high rises, there is Little Saigon Boutique Hotel offering the same 5 star luxury and service but with the charm and heart of a true boutique hotel. Experiencing this enchanting little hotel is unforgettable. We will come back again at the very next opportunity. Tip: We stayed in room 502 but room 501 has a really cute balcony. Thank you.

My friend and I stayed only one night. The location is great and very central.
We arrived around 11pm and unlike some places in Vietnam there was a reception open for us to check in. The hotel was tucked behind an ally on the main road so a little hard for a taxi to find. There was a flight of stairs up to the reception but they helped us with our bags on arrival and check out.
The reception was very clean, smelt nice and had hand sanitiser and temperature controls. The staff were really professional and friendly.
We were then shown to our rooms and again helped with out bags on the lift. We paid roughly £35 for the night. The room was quite small but had a very large bed, tv, clean linen, water, a fridge, snacks available to purchase, tooth brush and paste. The air con was good.
Breakfast is provide in the lovely court yard down stairs. Fruit, cake, toast, cereal, lot of meat, Pho was available.
Limited vegan and gluten free options however there was something available to meet these diary requirements.
The hotel also looked after our baggage the whole day before we headed to the air port. These were labelled up and looked after safely at reception.
I would recommend staying here.

Yes. Have the taxi meet at Kem Bach Đặng (the well known ice cream shop on the corner of Pasteur street and Le Loi ave. This is the closest point of roadway to Little Saigon Boutique.
Hi there,
Arriving at the airport, this place is easy to locate. There's two options on buses into the city. The yellow 109 service is laid out to be comfortable for travellers with luggage, and runs 24 hours. Buy tickets (20k dong) from the stops at outside International or Domestic arrivals. Alternatively the more frequent local green 152 bus runs till around 7pm (5k + 5k if you have luggage). I got off the Toa an Nhan dan Thanh Pho stop, as it involved crossing relatively mt.inor roads to get to the hotel. I used the buses a couple of times and the BusMap app was very useful. Otherwise, just grab a reliable taxi cab like: Vinasun or Mai Linh one and the cost is less than US$ 10 bucks.
Le Loi street is currently officially closed to traffic - due to the Metro construction, but it is no hindrance. The alley is very close to Sax n Art jazz club at 28 Le Loi Street and is well-signed. It's a busy place during the day with food and small shops, and Little Saigon is at the end to the right.
With best regards/ John
Same with us, they were very accommodating.
