Booked here on the fly since our other accommodations fell apart, pitiful airbnb sometimes, so back to old fashioned hotels! Anyway, Little Saigon Boutique is a charm, - nice staff even the non English speakers are cool and friendly. It's very near the upscale Saigon Center shopping complex too. I recommend this place and have now stayed here around 6-7 times in about 1.5 years. Cheers, xie xie, cam on nhieu
Hotel may be a little tough to locate upon arrival due to ongoing construction of the metro line (Grab/ taxi would drop you off at the main road/entrance of a popular ice cream parlour. Just walk straight down the stretch of shops, look our for a 24 hour mart before turning in to an alley where the hotel is situated). Other than that, the hotel is very strategically located (approx 2 mins walk from Saigon Centre and Saigon Square, approx 5 mins walk from Bin Thanh Market and approx 15 mins walk from Notre Dame Cathedral/ GPO). As the hotel reception isn't situated at the ground level, staff assisted us with our luggages up the flight of stairs. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Being our first time in HCM, we were not too sure of the area and staff were very helpful by giving clear directions. Our room was clean and cosy, and had a minibar with complimentary water, tea and instant coffee, which will be topped up everyday. Breakfast is at the coffeehouse on the ground level. Limited selection but the food has a very homely feel to it (Do not miss the chicken macaroni. The soup is superb!) We particularly liked how we can enjoy our breakfast while watching the locals start their day. A special shoutout to hotel staff Kelly, who never failed to greet us with a smile, gave good recommendations of what we can expect at the Bin Thanh night market and where to get good Banh Mi. Also a shoutout to the 2 porter staff (didn't manage to get their names) who were also very friendly and polite, helping us with our luggages upon arrival and departure, and even offered to help us with our luggages all the way to the main road and hail a cab to the airport (which we politely declined in the end!) Overall, our stay here was very very pleasant and yes, it truly is a Home away from Home. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting HCM!…
Once again I stayed at the Little Saigon Boutique Hotel, and was refreshed after a long trip from New York, vía Tokyo. Warm friendly smiles from the staff, Kelly, Michael, and Lieu, a superclean, cozy room, with a fantastic bed and Egyptian cotton linens. This little boutique hotel always pleases, relaxes, and refreshes me. The location is perfect; just 300mts from Ben Thanh Market, 300mts from the Opera House, and located on a quiet cul-de-sac. I’ve been staying here for 9 years, whenever I’m in saigon. Occasionally, I try other hotels, to see what else is out there, but this one always delivers!! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too!!!
Great place to stay, with very friendly, helpful staff, who go out of their way for you. Handy to everything. Lovely, comfy rooms, especially mine as it had a balcony. It will always be my stop in HCMC.
I’ve stopped there frequently when in Saigon. The place never lets me down, excellent service, wonderful staff and a really nice breakfast. The rooms are very functional, clean and well equipped. I’ve usually had a balcony room, but I believe even the windowless rooms (yes it’s quite normal in Asia not to have a window) are good. Keep up the good work and I’ll be seeing you again soon.
