Room looks nothing like the photos and smelled bad. The staff at reception was not friendly at all. We would walk in and say hi but they wouldn't even bother to answer. Breakfast was good, with large variety every morning. Good location - close to shops, restaurants.

This is a small hotel - in business for about 7 years. The rooms are moderately large with Windows ( but no view!) on two walls. Very modern room, excellent double bed. Air conditioning could have better power, occasionally the room is cool and pleasant. Only problem (for me) was the bath/shower and location of towels... The bath has a... More

Our room did not have a nice view but I was there for 3 days sightseeing and only used the room to wash and sleep. The room was very large with both double and single beds. The bathroom was ok nice and clean, the room also had free wifi. Breakfast was adequate depending on your tastes. I would certainly goo... More

The hotel room was clean but we got a problem that the room wasn't the same with picture and it was dark. It has no window and the bathtub wasn't close with the wall so when i took shower a lot of water coming out. The breakfasts were not so many things to choose and the same foods everyday. When... I booked this place from Australia, mainly because of the location and price. (This was my 5th trip to HCMC and I know District 1 reasonably well). I was awarded Room #704, 7th Floor, right at the back of the hotel; only 2 rooms per floor. Went inside and the rest is history, so they say. No power points were... More

Lovely room, clean, big bed very comfy bed. No window but that meant it wasn't so noisy. The hall way was undergoing some renovations but we were never disturbed by it. Only complaint was checking in. The man on reception was extremely unfriendly. As I walked up to the desk he was too busy lighting a cigarette to even look... More

Book a room with a window! Staff were great, but room average. All very clean. Breakfast was quite basic. Perfectly positioned though for the city. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Would stay here again.

It's Vietnam, so by nature, hotels aren't exactly of the best standard. Nevertheless, the hotel met expectations, but didn't do anything to exceed it. It was relatively clean by Vietnam standards, but even with no window, the room was loud and we could hear HCMC outside. The safe didn't work initially, however was remedied eventually. There was a miscommunication with... More

We had booked one kind of room, which turned out to be in the back half of the hotel. We told the staff it didn't look like the photos we had seen, so they showed us another room at the front of the hotel. It was a little more per day but absolutely worth the extra price - much larger... More

If location on a budget is what you are looking for this hotel would be an excellent choice. It is located behind the Caravelle and very close to the Opera House, restaurants and shopping. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights when on a business trip combined with an extra night for vacation. Our room was simple, clean and... More
