This was my first experience traveling alone so naturally I was terrified. However I had nothing to fear. Each night after 7pm everyone accumulates downstairs and everyone just wants to know everyone else. I've left Saigon now but if/when I return I'll certainly be coming back!

I guess we were not lucky with our stay here. When we arrived at around 19.00, the staff couldn't find our reservation, so we have to wait 30 minutes for them to sort it out by calling numerous persons over the phone and then again at check out, they asked us to pay whereas everything was already paid for and...

Stayed in the double room. Located in an alley off pham ngu Lao Street, short walk to bui Vien or pham ngu lao. Right in front of the alley is a small morning market. Loads of food choices available right at your door step. Breakfast included was banh mi with eggs and coffee or tea. They also offer 2 free...

We arrived at long hostel at around 5am from a night bus and it appeared all locked up. Turns out it wasn't and we walked right in. The guy on night shift was asleep on the couch so we just let ourselves into the other common area and slept until everyone else woke up at day light. The staff were...

We had an amazing stay at Long Hostel. The location is convenient in the backpackers area (also near the bus station for onward travels), they offer good free breakfast and free beer in the happy hours. Our room was clean and comfortable, the A.C. worked well and the room had a safe for valuables. The place is in a small...

This is one of my favourite hostels, they allowed early check in. Very clean bathrooms and dorm rooms. Comfy beds, power points near each bed and a lamp. Free wifi, beer, water and breakfast. Good size lockers with their own keys, no need for padlocks. I was travelling solo and met lots of people here. Would recommend to anyone looking...

Long Hostel is the best hostel I've stayed at! It feels like you are in someone's house rather than at a hostel! It's a good size hostel but feels smaller as there's two staircases! It's safe and homelike, a 2 minute walk from the backpackers street, so not loud at night! The staff are all lovely, there is someone downstairs...

I was there for three nights! The ambiance there is really enjoyable, the staffs are super helpful and warm, the breakfast there is just lovely. It's close to every famous spots in the town and it's close to every single thing. Will definitely stay at this place again if I ever make it again in HCMC as a backpacker.

Overall my stay at there is pleasant. I arrive there early in the morning around 6am as i take the night bus from dalat. The reception there is very friendly, they allow us to take shower at the ground floor and even offer us to have breakfast at the hotel although our booking is that night and breakfast provided should...
