A beautiful property in district 1 of HCMC which is perfect for staying if you are travelling with a large group of family members (in our case it was a group of six). We took a 3 bedroom apartment with balcony (staying on the 24th floor) and it was fantastic given the space and amenities. It had a cook out area with all amenities like micro etc fitted with it along with cutlery and dishes. A large living room with a large TV, home theatre system and sofas to relax and a beautiful balcony to chill out. The three bed rooms were large with enough storage spaces. The master bed room has an attached toilet while the other two bed rooms had to share a common toilet. It would have been nice if each room had their own toilet. The check in and check out was very smooth and the staff at the front office were very friendly and cooperating. The breakfast is served in the connecting IHG hotel ground floor and is a two minute walk through a passage way. The breakfast spread was vast and varied and everything you may want to have is served there. If you want to have tea or coffee order with some time in hand as they prepare for you fresh brew every time you order. We were booked on a family getaway plan (through the radisson app) and hence the dinner was part of the package. The dinner was served in the Yu Chu restaurant on the first floor of the IHG hotel. There was a bit of a misunderstanding on the timings as we reached at 9pm for dinner but was told that the restaurant closes at 9pm. However after a few rounds of discussion they were kind enough to make an exception and serve us the dinner and the food was just mind blowing. We had crabmeat soup, prawn-pork-mushroom dumplings, stir fried brocolli, sweet and sour pork, fish, chicken, fried rice and a amazing mango pudding. A big thanks to Mr. Sang and his team for this. Just in case if you are staying on a room only basis the hotel building has a plethora of stand alone dining options (serving Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, European etc food ) in he ground floor on the connecting passageway along with a Stabucks and a 24x7 departmental store. Or you can order in food froma restaurant of your choice through Grab or other food delivery service. All major sightseeing locations and shopping areas in district one is within 10-15 mins walking distance and the airport is about 20-30 mins away depending on the time of travel. Easy accessibility to cabs and grab taxi service is also available here. Overall a great property, with great staff and in a great location…

The service is impeccable. The weather was very hot while we were waiting to check out. Dinh the doorman told us to wait inside while he waited for the car and knowing that it was a long journey, he gave us a bottle of cold water which was a kind gesture. Overall we were happy with the stay at the hotel!

Couldn’t have been better. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Its huge and has all facilities one would need. House keeping Reception and Concierge all services impeccable. Breakfast spread was huge. They serve it at Intercontinental hotel thats connected by a small passage way which has banks a Starbucks a convenience store and several restaurants.. anywhere worth visiting in Ho chi minh is just minutes away.. Dont think twice before booking this property.

I've checked-in to the Intercontinental Saigon as part of our business meeting. However, as a 1st timer in Vietnam, I've made some mistakes regarding my credit card, putting me in a potentially very awkward situation. (Note: This happened on a Saturday so I have to wait for an entire day before banks can resolve the concern) Being far from my home country (PH), this kind of problem makes it easy for me to get nervous. Mr. Thanh and his colleagues were quick to assist me and were even kind enough to give me tea as I was making calls back home to resolve the situation. Mr. Thanh and IHG management were also very kind in listening to me as I laid out the proposed solution for the concern. This kind of hospitality really soothes my nervous heart and is something that I'll always look forward to if I return to IHG Saigon. Thank you, Mr. Thanh! Thank you, IHG! Don't let me forget the room! By itself, the room is also amazing! I've been to a few hotel rooms before in PH and Malaysia but IHG Saigon's is one of tbe best! A desk for professional meetings.
