clean room, attentive staff, breakfast good but a little limited, the location of the hotel is close to downtown, no more than 2km walking, but everything is close. The last day they lent us a shower so we could take a shower before taking the plane, thank you very much for that. the only thing we didn't like is that we asked for a cab to the airport, the person at the front desk said it would be about 200 to 250 thousand, when the cab arrived the person at the front desk went to talk to the cab driver (I don't know what he said) but once we were on the road we were in a different direction, I looked at google maps and we were in the opposite direction to the airport and blocked in traffic, when I told the driver that this was not the route he changed direction according to the indications of google maps, we went back to the hotel when the meter was at 70mil. ... we arrived at the airport with 190mil to pay .... when, don't trust the cab drivers with the meter.

My stay in Saigon was for 3-nights. The Sanouva Saigon Hotel offered me a small, no windows room for my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Albeit, it would have been nice to have a window. The bathroom was clean and updated. I was travelling with friends and they were given a room with a window for their stay, so I know what a window room is like. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful; appreciate them communicating in their second language, English. I liked that the hotel was within walking distance to many amenities: restaurants, coffee shops, and markets. The breakfast included in my stay was good, with a variety of options. I would stay here again.

Our first time at the Sanouva Hotel. The photo looks a bit glam for what you get BUT I was pleasantly surprised. I guess things have changed since last re-furb in 2018. The room was clean, nicely decorated and good value for money. Excellent location. Good eating places. Close to Saigon Square market which is my favourite. The staff were lovely especially Daniel who went above and beyond to help me find the hairdryer. I was having a little boy look. English speaking staff a bit scarce but the translator on our phones worked a treat. Breakfast - If you are a full american brekfast person you would probably be disappointed but omelette toast juice and fruit and pastry did us fine. I would quite happily return to this Hotel

We stayed at the Sanouva for our first 2 nights in Vietnam - we got in quite late and it was nice to have a quiet space to relax after a long flight (25 hours with layovers!). The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. I had previously stayed here, five years ago, and the location is excellent - the Ben Thanh market is just around the block, and many sights are within walking distance - about 10 minutes to Independence Palace and the War Remnants Museum, and about 10 minutes the other direction to the People's Committee Building. We stayed at a more expensive hotel for our last two nights in HCMC (the Grand Hotel Saigon), and to be honest, I think the Sanouva is a better value, with warmer staff. I will definitely stay here the next time I return to Vietnam.

We stayed at 3 hotels in Vietnam and this was the best of them. The staff are amazing especially Nam and Daniel who were both so helpful with taxis and local attractions. They are a credit to the hotel. The rest of the staff were also brilliant but these two were front of house. The room was lovely spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of food. The location was ideal for us with access to markets and points of interest. Beware of taxis from the airport they will rip you off. The fair to here is 150000 dong max. People from the airport tried to charge us between 400000 dong to 2000000 can you believe?? Download GRAB and set it up before you travel as I tried to set it up whilst there and it wouldn`t as i did not have a vietnamese number. Great hotel we would recommend it and go back.

It's a simple unfussy option close to Thanh market. They have a number of tours that come to hotel and nearby. The room was small for us we had booked for 3 people and they put us into a 2 person room. They have very small supplies for the rooms like soap and glasses and they don't offer much when they refresh the rooms. However I will say that the hotel is clean, the service staff is very good and the lift and hot water work well. I would recommend this since it's close by to most things that you would come to the city if you're visiting as a tourist.

This hotel was ideally located within district 1 and walking distance for a good Many sites and attractions, with easy cost effective transport for trips further away. The hotel was clean, well maintained, with a good bed and shower, breakfast was good and value for money I had everything i needed for a comfortable stay. Every member of staff was excellent very professional, polite and most helpful. There are too many names to remember but special mention for Huynh Khoi, and Son, Trang who I interacted with daily they went out of their way to help me and make my stay a good one. I would definitely stop at this hotel again. Thank you for your hospitality. Regards Mark

Location of hotel is just perfect very near to tourist attractions, restaurants & city life. Everything is just walking distance from here. Rooms are neat and tidy and offer great value for money. Hotel staff is courteous and friendly. They prepared vegeterian noodles for us in breakfast without even asking for it. Will stay again here in the next visit
