Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
First impressions can be deceiving. We arrived late during a thunderstorm and the small, dark alley didn’t exactly inspire confidence that we made the right hotel choice. However at daylight things literally brightened up. Rooms are well appointed with a quirky design mirrored throughout the property. The breakfast buffet is simple, sufficient to start the day with the only improvement we would have loved to have a Western style coffee as the sweet Vietnamese one was too much for our taste. Staff are attentive and friendly, however clearly still relearning their trade after the long Covid lockdowns. While location is not that central, Grab/Gojek gets you everywhere in no time for less than USD 5 even you can’t bother walking - which we did a number of times without issue - mind you that crossing the street is a newly acquired or refreshed skill every time we visit 🇻🇳😂

This spot worked out great for us, starting with a smooth 1:30 am check in. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and everything was clean. We loved getting day-of laundry service for an extremely reasonable price and looked forward to breakfast every day. The selection was comprehensive, the food fresh and tasty. We both thought the coffee was delicious. With Grab rides to District 1 less than $5 USD, and several tours picking us up, we didn’t find the location inconvenient at all. And, we preferred the quiet. One night we wandered in a very pleasant way and found a wonderful sisters-owned leather shop and many simple food options, just as Tet was winding down.

The Maison De Camille is really a wonderful property which lives up to all the past reviews .
Bedding probably one of the best beds For quality and comfort that I have stayed in many years.
Shower wonderful dual head shower with great hot water
The whole hotel reminds me of a New Orleans boutique hotel with a very French Flair.
Is a great property for comfort and a relaxed atmosphere.
Staff very outgoing and friendly.
What I didn’t care so much for is that the hotel is located too far from the city centre . The walkability around the hotel is sparse and not inviting. Really want to be closer to D1 and D3 which I have learned now. You have to take a taxi or grab to get around from this location.
Further the hotel does not offer Cable TV and only a smart TV with internet capabilities. Wish someone in a review would have mentioned this prior. I personally didn’t care for this.
Finally the internet is in and out so trying to watch a movie on the internet is hit and miss.
If this hotel was in D 1 or D3 or even D7 it would be a $ 200.00 USD a night hotel.
Further I digress with the hotel only serving breakfast on Friday , Saturday and Sunday at this point in time , you would need to have a taxi take you to a restaurant or order grab food for delivery which I did for lunches.
Again a wonderful beautiful property. With all Amenities for a great comfortable stay.
For me personally it was great stay but to far away from areas I enjoy for basic conveniences when I’m in Saigon.

Such a hidden gem in HCM city ! I love everything from the design, quality, food to the friendly service here. You got a five- star quality with an affordable price❤️ I think this is a great place to stay when you travel to Viet Nam or for those who need a quick getaway in the city. Reasonable hotel, let down by being a long way from the heart of Saigon and very limited options for meals within walking distance. The included breakfast is simple and all rooms open out to a common area that extends from the ground floor (where breakfast is served) to the top floor meaning that once people start having breakfast it is noisy. Rooms are reasonable, but the provided furniture is basic, stained, and dirty. The staff we encountered on the evening we checked in were unhelpful and seemed annoyed that we were checking in so late (9.30pm). We booked 2 rooms with bathtubs and these were not available when we arrived. When we asked for the rooms we had booked we were treated as an inconvenience. The Manager was polite and apologetic the next morning but we chose to check out and try somewhere else. There are many, many hotels in this price range in Saigon so be sure you really want to stay here before you book.

We stayed here for two nights and it was the right choice.
Inspired by other reviews, we decided to book the hotel with confidence and it was worth each penny.
When we arrived, the outside look did not attract you much, but behind the entrance was a nice wow in which we were in a big space with a tiny boutique reception counter.
The hotel's every corner was clean and well-decorated in subtle details. The amenities/facilities they offered were of high class and quality. Staffs were friendly and helpful.
The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious, and well taken care of. It the worth mentioning was that we felt truly like at home as everything was very comfortable and we were so closely connected with interacting with the staff.
The breakfast was included in the room price and it was really boutique in its positive decoration meaning and the taste was so delicious.
We were among many guests staying at the time and we had a very good time there.
When we have a future chance, we will definitely be back to enjoy their hospitality at its fullest

The purpose of writing this letter is to compliment your hotel staff for their wonder service. Thanks to your staff for making it such a comfortable stay at your hotel. I was there for four days on a business trip and for all these days I was attended with utmost warmth. I was impressed to see the prompt room service. One of the staff Phuong even show me to the room when I checked in . When i went to the lobby to find nearby area for good food and drinks she even take time to search for me and recommended me.
I would like to compliment your entire staff for being so professional. With smile on their faces, they have been really very impressive in their service. And I would like to visit your hotel again for this outstanding experience.

maison de camille is such a fantastic hotel inside and out.
first, the location is incredible for those who find the hustle and bustle of saigon roads to be chaotic. the hotel is located off the main road yet still easily accessible by private hire cars, though the minor road leading to it is narrow. the districts are also mere car rides away from the hotel. second, if you are looking for a no-frills accommodation, look no further. the breakfast spread, albeit small, remains delicious every morning. the beds are comfortable and i am not someone who sleeps easily in hotels. the staff are attentive to any possible need you may have and do their best to accommodate.
what really surprised us was the fact that the in-room TV was digital and you could log into netflix and youtube during your stay! that's a rarity in most hotels.
all in all, i highly recommend and cannot recommend maison de camille enough. definitely returning when i take another trip to saigon.

호텔에 갔더니 방이 없답니다 그리고는 취소 해줄테니 저보고 방을 예약하랍니다 저녁비행기였는데 저녁8시에 호텔 도착해서 어른2아이3명 숙소를 갑자기 구하랍니다 자기네들이 잘못해놓고 우리보고 방을 구하라고 하는게 어이가 없었습니다. 시간이 지나니 홈스테이 숙소를 예약했다고 자기네들이 불러주는 그랩타고 가랍니다 그래서 갔더니 호스트가 저보고 돈을 지불하랍니다. 그래서 호텔측에 물어보니 돈을 입금해준다고 기다리랍니다 또 그렇게 20분가량 시간이 흘렸고 입금이 되었고 방으로 안내 받았습니다. 방에 들어오니 밤 11시였고 저녁일정은 하나도 진행 못했습니다. 이 뿐만 아니라 분명히 호텔에서 이동할때 직원에게 조식포함 예약이였는데 새로운곳도 조식이 있냐고 물어봤었고 분명히 조식이 있다고 했었는데 막상 새로운곳에 가니 조식이 없답니다. 자기네들 방보다 비싼방을 대신 예약해줘서 그렇다는데 방상태가 그냥 줘도 자기 싫을 만큼 안좋았습니다...완전 사기꾼 호텔입니다 비싼돈 주고 여행하는데 시간적 보상은 아에 생각조차 하지 않는 쓰레기 같은 호텔입니다 다들 절대 예약하지 마세요. 저희 아이들3명이 힘들다고 우는 모습이 아직도 머리속을 떠나지 않습니다.

They said it was because they reserved a room that was more expensive than their own, but the condition of the room was so bad that they didn't want to sleep even if they gave it to me.It's a total phony hotel. It's a trashy hotel that pays a lot of money to travel and doesn't even think about time Don't ever make a reservation. I still can't get out of my head seeing the three kids crying because they're having a hard time.

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel offered the perfect retreat for our family vacation.
We had a Family Room which consisted of 2 interconnecting rooms with two bathrooms. They were spacious, clean, and exuded comfort. Our family could stay close together while still having our own space. Separated bathrooms for the parents and two teens was a perk !
The breakfast spread was simply delightful with addition preparation of different noodle dishes everyday. Did not observed the restaurant being opened for lunch or dinner, Staff was friendly and helpful too.
The costs were reasonable too at SGD176 (USD130) per night, considering two quality rooms with breakfast, making it excellent value for money.
While the hotel is situated a bit away from the city center, getting around was quite easy thank to cheap Grab taxi rides. The tours we booked could not pick us up at the hotel venue. We grabbed a cab to the meet-up point in the city center, costing less than SGD5 (USD3.70)
Overall, awesome stay at at a quiet lovely boutique hotel.

We would like to inform that distance from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Maison De Camille Hotel is about 07 km, it will take 20 minutes or more by car depending on traffic.
Please only use the Mai Linh (green one) or Vinasun (white one), these taxi companies are reliable and use the meter correctly or try to take Grab (if possible).

La Maison de Camille is close enough from city center and you can easily reach there by taxi at affordable price but if you have limited time you can stay in District 1 which is the exact City Center with more colonial buildings from the French period. La Maison de Camille offers a free shuttle to City Center.
