Our travel agent had booked us at this hotel 04-12-2014, it was completely horrible. In the booking it said Hong Vy 3 Hotel, when we came there it says Mayflower Hotel on the sign. The room was really dirty, including the bathroom and bed sheets that had stains on them. The staff was unfriendly and tried to make us stay... More

I stayed here through an offer on CheapTickets, first off all they advertised being located in district 1, not true, they're in D.3 not a comfortable distance to walk to many attractions. NO HOT WATER!!!! ALL ROOMS ARE SMOKING rooms. I asked for another blanket and they didn't have one, a hotel with NO extra blankets GIVE ME A BREAK!!!... More

This hotel represents excellent value for money. I have stayed here numerous times for both business and pleasure and I have always been satisfied with my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone location for a good balance between value for money, location and comfort. Plus the free wifi is awesome!

I stayed here for a few nights as part of a Vietnam tour and it was very pleasant. They were renovating reception which was a little noisy but at least they want to keep the hotel improving. The rooms were medium sized whilst the bathroom was a tad small. Air-conditioning was supplied as was free Wifi. There are also 2 desktop's in the lobby and the response on them was acceptable. A good, clean and comfortable hotel. Room was medium-sized, clean with a small window. Interesting view of the rooftop next door and pigeons feeding. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here for three nights. All three mornings my partner and I woke up to construction. The first morning it was a power saw, i called down to reception to tell the workers to hold off til a respectable hour (it was 7:45). We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour too. Our room was small - the smallest we experienced in our trip thoughout Vietnam and Cambodia. Hotel room was average however building work in hotel started way too early at 7.30am and the lift was often busy carrying stuff for the builders which would be ok but there was only 1 lift and I was on the 7th floor.
