I will start with some good points. Location scores a solid 9 A great sandwich bar opposite called Journeys. rooms are clean and some have a small thin balcony. A nice touch is the fridge and a free selection of snacks and 2 cans of coca cola. A free car to the airport for a 3 night stay is a good touch too . My stay at La luna started in the reception with a friendly welcome from Tom who without any prompting told me that if any girls are brought back to the room, the police would be called. A good job it was not my plan ! I checked in and noticed a severe lack of other guests, in fact over the next 3 days there I was their only guest apart for 1 other on the last night . I went to the room and tried to use the safe for my valuables but it was so old the instructions were multifold and where would I get a letter off the pope at that time of night! I connected my computer an found the wi-fi not working. reception said this is normal and nothing can be done, so I resorted to the t/v which would not work until somebody arrived to tune it in . This went off after an hour and stayed frozen for the rest of my stay , coming back every so often for a few seconds . The breakfast was a small selection buffet with fresh eggs and was satisfactory . The main reason for the low score is that the cost of around 60£ a night was higher than comparable hotels in the same area with better facilities .…
Very happy with my stay at LaLuna Saigon. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is very good. Some reviews mention the bathroom being in the room, but as long as you are traveling solo, with a significant other, or with a close friend, I wouldn’t be concerned.
They upgraded our room to one with a balcony free of charge when we arrived and were very welcoming and friendly. They helped schedule us a tour we were looking at, provided free breakfast every morning, set up the hottub upstairs when we asked, gave us free snacks in our room, and after we checked out even held onto our luggages the entire day and allowed us to shower for free when we came back to pick up our luggages (our flight home was at night). Overall an amazing experience and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay with friendly and charming staff.
After a warm welcome we went to our room. Nice and clean. Standard room with AC and free snacks and drinks. Breakfast was good, fruits and juices included. The staff is also very friendly. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Right in the citycenter tough very quiet in our room!! We would recommend this hotel to all our friends.
I booked the hotel for 5 nights. Staffs can speak in English, and they are so friendly, nice and helpful! :) Upon arrival, they greeted us with a glass of juice and a pack of postcars. I unfortunately broke the glass yet they still remain in a pleasant manner, cleaned it up for us. And we paid reasonable compensation afterwards. The hotel serves breakfast everyday from 7-10am, with western & viet dish. For viet dish, they only serve 1 type per day, but change everyday. I have to say the food is so good n i enjoy it very much with ca phe sua da. In room snacks are refilled everyday. The location is quite good in district 1, one road away from the bar/clubbing street, and close to some attractions. Highly recommend.
