Spent a night here in this lovely hotel - very clean, comfortable bed and a spacious room. Breakfast was nice and filling. Roof top pool area is clean and relaxing.
It is difficult to find however. My taxi driver drove up and down the road trying to find it with no joy. The locals didn't know either so have the address to hand! It's close to the airport but that's the only good thing location wise.

I stay in business hotels and motels up to 50 times a year. This place here is as close to perfection as I could wish for. It has everything. Rarely seen anybody thinking detailed improvement like this. Real toothbrushes, not the throw-away type. Real toothpaste, real toilet paper, real shampoo, lush towels, even by the pool. Massive beds, super comfy, great linen. Great interior, stylish and robust. Travel agent in the lobby, English spoken. Wifi, good TV reception. These guys went out of their way. At arrival, we found out I had booked a double ned, instead of twin singles. Received an instant, free upgrade to a 2 double bed room. Yes, this is a raving review. You can trust it!.

only stayed one night after arriving from Australia before departing for Hanoi the following morning. As the hotel does not serve meals apart from a basic breakfast a map with directions for an evening meal would greatly assist. Overall very suitable for an overnight stay. The one thing I would suggest is a room safe as the hotel does not have any safe at all including in reception. Very close to the airport which is a bonus get a taxi a lot cheaper than pre arranged transfers. would stay again while in transit

This rates as the worst hotel i have ever stayed in over. 40 years travellin ,
The staff speak no english and unwilling to help.
Breakfast? You have to be kidding , Two eggs a bread roll and coffee.
No sewerage system , can not flush toilet paper.
Kitchen .. A microwave and a faulty hot plate !!
TV. Small with local channels only.
I got back from a short walk to be told “ICOULD NOT GO TO MY ROOM AS IT WAS BEING CLEANED”
Thats weird.
Too stinjy to leave hall light on so it was difficult getting the old fashionn metal key in the lock
Position, near absolutely nothing of interest and not a single driver could find it in this tiny dead end ally.
I paid for 7 nights and left after 3 forgeiting my totally unrefundable balance. Found somewhere half the price , twice the features. Beware, it looks great online.

Close to everything good family hotel. Spacious room, nice staff. Close to restaurant and cool shops and eventually the airport. Stayed only one night but very convenient with a nice airport pickup. Will consider staying again

We had lovely rooms, clean and tidy with the most comfortable beds that were heaven sent after a long flight. The breakfast was outstanding. Fresh fruit, bread, eggs, crepes, and fantastic coffee. The terrace by the pool was a great escape from the heat and there was always a lovely breeze. The staff was friendly and kind and very helpful.

Having read reviews about this been a friendly family run hotel, I must say I was disappointed. For 85% of our time we dealt with a lad whose English was very limited and therefore I think understandably not interested in engaging in conversation. I’m not saying he wasn’t friendly or helpful. Not only did he staff the reception desk, he also cooked and served breakfast. Another male was around who spoke even less English and there was a female for about 5% of our contact that had better English. Not that any of this is really a criticism; it was just that from other reviews we were expecting to be engaging with a friendly family.

Breakfast was adequate and an effort was made to provide me with gluten free options, which was appreciated. Our room was the top room available and was quite spacious except for the bathroom, which is very small. Unfortunately the shower drainage was very poor which generally resulted in the bathroom and toilet floor being flooded unless you stopped the shower every 30 seconds to let the water dissipate. My wife was a little put off with having to put the toilet paper in the bin, which may not have been too bad except it was 3 days before they emptied the bin and then only at our request, saying they only emptied it when it was full. There was a kitchenette outside on the balcony and although we didn’t cook, the chopping board and knives were useful for preparing fruit. The air conditioning didn't cope very well, partly because the room was spacious and partly because it was very hot. It therefore annoyed us greatly that if we ducked out for say 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee the staff entered the room and turned off the the air con so when we returned the room was hot and it took quite a while to cool down again. They kept doing this even though we asked them not to because my wife had a medical problem and needed time in the cool to allow recovery of the effect of her medical problem.

Someone commented about "real" toothpaste - I'm not sure what unreal toothpaste is, but we had the large tube that had been used by the previous guests and probably the guests before them. Similarly there was just one large bottle of liquid soap (constantly transferred between shower and sink) and one bottle of shampoo, both used by previous guests. Although not what we're use to it probably does cut down on wastage.

The hotel is in quiet despite the nearby busy road to the airport – actually, location suited us, outside busy district 1, but close enough to visit it and close to the airport. There are also plenty of restaurant options available within 5 minutes walk. There was only ever one other guests when we were there, which also made it quiet. Despite only two rooms occupied they managed to “forget” to do our room one day until at about 5pm we reminded them. This is a budget hotel and cost cutting is evident in many ways.

The real plus about this hotel is the roof top pool. Would we stay there again? Maybe, but not without first looking for an alternative, with a pool, outside district 1, but close to the airport.

Hotel is close to the airport tucked away in a quiet back alley. I believe we were the only ones there for our two night stay which was great. Staff were friendly and very accommodating, and were nice enough to let us use the pool after hours.
Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was nothing to rave about but it was enough to start the day.
Overall, it was great place for the price and is definitely recommend going there.

We stayed in this lovely little family run hotel on our arrival into Vietnam. The hotel is a little taxi ride (approx £3 to £4) from the airport and the main tourist area 'district 1'. Its not the easiest hotel to find so make sure you have the address handy. The staff were amazing, the room was very clean, air-conditioned and very comfortable. The water from the shower was not always the hottest but that was nice. A little gem...

I stayed for 5 nights at this very new bed and breakfast in Ho Chi Minh City. The property is known either as Ananas Hotel or Ananas Family Hotel. It is not located in the city centre but in Ward 10, Phu Nhuan District which is about 6 kilometres from District 1, the main tourist belt located by the river. From the property, the taxi the fare to District 1 is roughly 150,000 Dong or about US7.

The property is located in a back lane slightly off the main thoroughfare leading to District 1. The hotel can call you a taxi if you are lazy to walk to the main road. There are no proper restaurants in the immediate vicinity outside the property. There is one non-descript take away Vietnamese rest, located at the the T junction of the lane near the property...avoid this....they charge astronomical prices for the mediocre food.

The 20 room property is spread over 5 to 6 floors and there is one elevator in service. A small rectangular pool which gets the mid-morning and afternoon sun is located on the rooftop and great for chilling off and for doing some short diagonal laps.

Breakfast is served on the terrace adjoining the pool. Breakfast which was modest and adequate comprised of fried eggs with sausages, fresh orange juice, tea, baguette with butter and jam and seasonal fresh fruit. I brought my own cereals and they supplied the milk and they were happy to cut up additional fruit which I bought from the market. No other meals are provided.

I paid about US$55 for a pleasant studio room on the second floor and thus most of the time I did not bother to use the elevator except when moving my luggage. The air-conditioned room was large and equipped with a large double bed, telephone, reading lights, TV, small refrigerator, wardrobe, sofa and coffee table, hairdryer, coffee and tea amenities. There was also a balcony with a table and two chair and a kitchen sized sink for washing up. The washroom amenities were equipped with toothpaste, earbuds, shaver, toothbrush, body soap and hair conditioner. The shower was strong and there was ample hot water. The drainage hole for the shower could be better improved as the water from the shower partition used to spill over to commode side of the washroom. Good quality towels were provided.

The young management team headed by Ms Twin, were very helpful and polite at all times even with their limited command of the language. They provided a couple of maps and gave me directions and when necessary used their internet facility in the lobby to get me the necessary information.

There were some minor teething problems but the hotel is an its infancy and I am sure that these will be ironed out soon.
