The hostel is in a pretty shady and dark alley, but not too far from the center of Hanoi and the main attractions. I stayed in the double bed mixed dorm with other 3 couples. The thing that I didn't like much was the toilet inside the dorm, everyone can hear so it's not really convenient and comfortable to shower or use the toilet while others are sleeping. Plus the toilet door is a frosted glass so people can kind of see through. The breakfast is good.

FREE WALKING TOUR - A must do in Hanoi if you are staying at this hostel! Our guide Minh was the best and was more than happy to answer any questions we had about his city in good English. The stories he told us we’re personal and informative. We even got to sample some really good value egg coffee! Roughly 3 hours long and was running 3 times a week in the morning when we stayed. I decided to go for a morning free tour organized by the hostel (which is amazing by the way, great room, friendly staff and supet ckean bathrooms). We visited historical places, like the St. Joseph church, plus the Dong Xlan market, where you can lose yourself among amazing food supplies. Then we sip the original egg coffee in the historical café Nang. Truly recommend it if you want to have a good morning walk of the old town. Minh is a very good vietnamese guide with a lot of stories and secrets of the town to share with you, he really loves Hanoi, you can feel it.
