We had a very pleasant stay at this wonderful and perfectly located (2 minutes walk to the cathedral, 5 minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake) hotel. Original booking was for 3 nights followed by a 2days/one night trip to Halong Bay. This trip was recommended and booked by Caroline in the hotel - and it was a great recommendation. We were so happy with our first stay that we directly booked for the remaining 4 nights in Hanoi. The second room was even nicer than the first one (and there was nothing to complain about the first one). Despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle if a very lively area (hundreds of bars, shops, coffee bars, restaurants) it is very quiet - very little traffic in the street for sure is one reason. Rooms are nice, very well maintained and the complete hotel is very clean, every single person of the staff very friendly, welcoming and service oriented. Looking forward to coming back soon....

Best hotel for solo and couple travel. This hotel will be loved by Indians. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's exquisite dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes. I also dined at the rooftop restaurant, which provided a memorable culinary experience with its gourmet dishes and breathtaking views.
The hotel's facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed relaxing in the well-maintained pool area and indulged in a rejuvenating spa treatment. The fitness center was fully equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine during my stay.

It's about a 40-minute drive from the airport (if there's no traffic jams). This time, I used KKday's shuttle service for both the outbound and return trips. It's located in a busy area near Hoan Kiem Lake, and the hotel is in a quiet area down an alley. I stayed in a Deluxe City View Room (double), but it was extremely small. The bed took up most of the space, and the gap between the closet and the bed was barely wide enough for a person to pass through, making it difficult to use. The sliding door was broken, and the safety box couldn't be used. It's quite tight for two people. However, the room was clean, the bed was fluffy and comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and temperature control, and the WIFI was fast and comfortable, so there was no problem if you were only using the hotel to sleep. The staff were all very kind, the breakfast menu was different every day and there was a wide variety, and considering the convenient location to go anywhere, I think it's a good value hotel, but there are many hotels in the same price range in the area, so it might not be the best choice.

The location of this hotel is great, so you can see the Old City without taking a taxi. It's great because there are delicious pho restaurants and cafes, and you can buy souvenirs right in front. I recommend it because you can eat fruit and a delicious omelet for breakfast. The hotel staff are very friendly, so if you have any inconveniences, they can ask and resolve them right away. The room we stayed in had a large, comfortable bed and was equipped with the necessary dryers and hangers. If you want to see the Old City, come to this hotel. It's nice to be able to feel the atmosphere of Vietnam.

We stayed here for several nights both at the beginning and end of our holiday in North Vietnam and in the middle they happily looked after our luggage during the day when we transferred from Sapa to the airport to fly to Hoi An. On all occasions we were given such a warm welcome and by the end greeted as long lost friends. Pickups and drop offs to airports/ train stations etc were efficient and always on time. Staff are only too happy to help with advice on where to go or help to book anything. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location close to the lake and Old Quarter with a huge choice of restaurants close by. Some rooms are better appointed than others but all are very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were good and gave a wide choice of both European and Vietnamese food and my husband would definitely recommend the pancakes! This was a great hotel and we would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay while in Hanoi. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

The room is a little small, but it has everything you need, including a closet, dressing table, and mirror, and is bright. A famous rice noodle restaurant. It's close to St. Joseph's Cathedral and there are many pretty cafes in the alley. The location is good for exploring the Old Quarter, and the bedding, towels, hygiene, etc. are well maintained and it is clean. The hot water works well and the breakfast is especially delicious. It's a buffet style, so there's a lot of fruit, and omelettes and rice noodle pancakes are served separately. The staff in the lobby are all especially friendly, so I feel good when coming in and out of the hotel.

The hotel's service is very considerate, the environment is very good, very clean, and very quiet, and basically no noise from outside can be heard; the breakfast is delicious, with a variety of local fruits, and also provides food suitable for the tastes of different countries. The staff is very enthusiastic and will actively ask questions about life and travel in Vietnam, and will also actively provide help. Especially Miss Lily at the front desk is very gentle. She will communicate with guests enthusiastically every day. Even if there are language difficulties, she will patiently use some translation software to communicate with guests, and greet the residents enthusiastically every day. Throughout our time in Vietnam in November/December 2024, we used this exceptional hotel to explore Hanoi and as a base for our travels as we visited other cities. In total, we came back 5 times and stayed 9 nights - it was that good! We can't recommend it enough.
The rooms were always spotless and such high quality, with comfy beds and pristine bathrooms, daily cleaning and amenities provided. Treat yourself to a Junior Suite with balcony for stunning views! The daily free breakfast was wonderful and nourishing as well.
The location is totally fantastic. It is so close to everything, including the lake and shopping streets but still feels much more peaceful than other areas in central Hanoi. It's quiet and surrounded by great restaurants and shops right on its doorstep. We always felt very safe and comfortable.
The staff were the absolute highlight of our stay. They are BEAUTIFUL people who were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble to organise for us - they booked airport transfers for us multiple times, coordinated laundry, allowed us a late check out and kept our bags for us every time we left Hanoi to visit Tam Coc, Sapa, Hoi An and Halong Bay. When I became unwell during the last days of our trip, they checked on me constantly and gave my partner helpful advice about the local pharmacy.
We must give a special mention to Kate, who manages the hotel so beautifully and with such professionalism. We so enjoyed talking with her every day. She is an OUTSTANDING representative of the hotel and they are lucky to have her! We also absolutely loved meeting Hanna on reception. She was incredibly kind to us, constantly helpful and friendly, and a joy to talk to. Both these women are a credit to the hotel and their English is brilliant. We wouldn't have come back to stay so many times if it wasn't for their kindness and hospitality which made us feel so at home.

I agree with Iner7. Best to contact the hotel. The customer service officer, Tony, is very helpful and usually responds quite quickly to emails. It isn't clear from your email whether you are staying the night before you leave but if you are maybe they can just store your luggage for a few hours after you check out and let you have a shower before you leave ie without having to rent a room for a few hours

We travelled by minibus from Hanoi to Halong Bay and back and stayed one night on the boat. It was fabulous. The hotel organised it. I don't know the name of the boat or tour company.
