First of all a special mention to Zenky who contacted me direct via Whatsapp months previously when I first booked the hotel. He was more than helpful and very informative. As were all the hotel staff. The room was fine and the breakfast very good. Although not easy to find on foot they gave you a street map which helped a lot to get your bearings in the old quarter of Hanoi. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is very close to Hanoi cathedral and Kiem Lake and it was great to walk round the bustling streets. Lee at reception organised a private 4 hour jeep tour around the good and bad areas of Hanoi which was amazing, and they also gave us a discount.

Lovely hotel in a quiet street but a close walk to everything. We moved here after a disastrous 2 days in a Hanoi Silk hotel. Staff here couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! The Manager was very professional and attentive We had a family room which was spacoous and very clean. Breakfast was also included which was very good!!! Would recommend this hotel to anyone

incredibly nice and helpful staff + great location in a quiet street in the otherwise busy old quarter. the staff helped us with planning of trips and have very helpful advice at the beginning of our vietnam visit. the rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast excellent. would recommend 100%!

The first 4 days in Hanoi I kept switching places. On the 5th day I found Golden Legend Diamond. I think I stayed here for 4 days. You are in the centre of Hanoi, with pretty much everything in walking distance. Eventhough you are in the centre, you can still get a good night of sleep. The street of the hotel is really quiet, he bed is the most comfortable I had in Vietnam and the room is clean. Next to that, the staff is kind, speaks English and they have a travel agency inside that is not just trying to sell, but really wants what is the best for you. I can really recommend this place. We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was great. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of fruits. We love the chicken noodle soup.it's near the church, the lake, walking street... We booked the halong bay tour, ninh binh tour at the reception. They were both great We will come back

The hotel is located in a comparatively quieter streets of old quarter. Its a good location just few minutues walk from all the frequently visted places by tourists in old quarter. The hotel is clean and staff right from the boys who help you with luggage to the management staff all have been nothing but kind, welcoming and helpful. I would like to mention Mr Zenky who has been in touch since our reservation much before with left for Vietnam and has been kindly replying to all my queries even some not related to the hotel but generally about Vietnam. He is such an amazing and kind person. He goes above and beyond to makes sure all his guests comfortable. Breakfast is good too although we were always rushing and didnt get time to enjoy the awesome spread at lesuire. The staff were kind enough to let us pack breakfast for our long connecting early morning flight as we were rushing. Thank you Mr Zenky for your hospitality and if we vist Hanoi we defenately will stay at golden Legend Diamond hotel and recommend your hotel to all our friends and fanily.…

The hotel is very comfortable and extremely clean. The staff are so helpful and kind. They will help you with anything you need. Leo even served as an interpreter for us when we were searching for the Vietnamese birth family of my nephew, who was adopted from a Hanoi orphanage many decades ago. This is the hotel we will return to on our next visit!

Zenky, Leo, Wendy, harry, all of the staff at Golden Legend Diamond have treated me and my uncle like family. Not only did they work with us prior to even arriving in Hanoi, but once we arrived they have done nothing except deliver authentic and friendly accommodation. Not only that, but they also have helped me (adopted Vietnamese) to find my Vietnamese family. They have become my friends and I will always remember them as such. They have made my time here in Hanoi a memorable and comfortable time I will never forget. The rooms are clean, breakfast is very good, and they will go above and beyond to accommodate you to the best of your needs with a smile. Be polite and respectful, because these are good people. I had the pleasure of staying in the Golden Legend Diamond Hotel twice during my trip to Vietnam. This is a smaller hotel on a quiet street, a minute away from all of the action of the old quarter. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and I have had a very pleasant stay. The thing that makes this place truly terrific is the staff, who are some of the friendliest that I have encountered. I would like especially thank Zenky who was in close touch with me since making the reservation long before getting to Vietnam and was extremely helpful in organizing transport, day trips, and giving advice in general, and also Aaron, the night receptionist that besides being very friendly and talkative also helped me get away from a taxi driver who was trying to scam me.
