Stayed here for 2 nights in March and enjoyed our stay. Welcomed with a friendly smile and drinks. We booked a transfer in advance, driver was waiting at the airport with our name on the sign. Everything you need in the room - toiletries, hairdryer, safe. Fresh fruit provided - very nice. The breakfast was a real highlight, great choice...

Great location right in the middle of the Old Quarter, surrounded by restaurants and shopping streets. Also right next to Bia Hoi corner where locals and tourists are attracted to the cluster of little bars dispensing very cheap beer. We had a room on the 8th floor facing away from the street and the smallish window had double glazing, so...

Excellent stay, highly recommended accommodation Our group (in 3 rooms) stayed at Essence d'Orient hotel for 5 nights in Feburary 2017. We stayed in (2) Suite City View rooms and (1) Junior Suite Balcony room. So very large, very clean rooms, on a high floor, in front of hotel. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choices and well prepared. Can't...

This hotel is a great choice if you have a few days in Hanoi. It is so well placed in the old quarter, so perfect for soaking up the atmosphere. Rooms are spacious enough, bathrooms nice and although on a very busy street, very quiet inside so sleep was not a problem. Staff were very helpful and polite, with big...

Perfect stay at the Essence d'Orient hotel. The location is brilliant, right in the middle of the old quarter. Hotel is well positioned for the various bars and restaurants in the area, however there is no issue with noise in the night when trying to sleep. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice, we had the chicken sweet corn...

Situated right in the heart of the Old Quarter of Hanoi, this is the perfect place to stay to explore the city. The staff cannot do too much for you - we were welcomed in style. The room was extremely comfortable and a nice touch of fresh petals on the bed. Staff in restaurant have been superbly trained and they...

The Deluxe Room with Balcony is spacious, but the rooms are quite moist and smell like that too. Breakfast is nothing special but ok, buffet and some a la carte dishes are included. The hotel is located directely at the "beer corner", where a lot of people meet and drink every evening. That why its quite loud, but the windows...

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. It is in the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi, with all the noise and bustle of the street life. You enter the hotel through a classy looking tailor's shop into a calm and peaceful environment, to be very warmly welcomed by smiling, friendly and helpful staff....
