The staff are very friendly and helpful and can help you with all tours and local advise. The hotel is in a good location, clean and with free internet access and a great breakfast (which is free too!) The staff make you feel at home and it makes all the difference between just a hotel, and a friendly place to...

The Rising Dragon Hotel is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed! It is an oasis of calm amongst the bustling old quarter of hanoi and in my experience the staff will go out of their way to help out and make sure you are looked after. The price is reasonable, and the rooms very comfortable. Great beds...

This hotel is in a great location in the middle of the Old Quarter of Hanoi, close to good shops and restaurants and in particular Silk Road. The manager, Mr Trung and his staff went out of their way to be helpful, including arranging transfers to buses, day excursions and recommending local places to eat. The rooms, priced at Australian...

The hotel was nice and in a good location. However, the staff was what made the difference. They personally helped us recover our friend's lost passport, accompanied us to the local police station to report the incident and took it upon themselves to help us recover the passport in any way. They became our friends over our short stay there....

Rising Dragon is an excellent hotel where the staff go out of their way to help and assist you, both in Hanoi and after you leave. The rooms are good - comfortable and en suite. Location is also excellent, with it being right in the middle of the old part of Hanoi and it is very close to the lake....

Hanoi is a tourist trap and everyone seems to be out to get you. It is mostly true, but there are exceptions. Rising Dragon is most definitely one of those. You can still bargain down their prices a little and you can squeeze a couple of beds in when you want to- they are extremely reasonable. They were genuinely concerned...

Three of us stay at Raising Dragon in the total of 3 nights and loved it. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. I've decided its the best hotel value in Vietnam that I've stayed at after traveling for over three weeks in Vietnam. The staffs were exceptionally friendly, professional and welcoming. Trung was who help us plan our cruise...

The first thing that greeted me at the Rising Dragon Hotel was the staffs' insistence that I put down my heavy pack so they could carry it up the stairs to my room for me. I was quickly checked in and taken to my room on the 4th floor. After resting a little, I went downstairs and I felt like...

My cousin and I stayed in in the Rising Dragon Hotel for three nights. Very good overall. The staff speak very good English (the hotel advertises that all staff are required to have a year of English studies), and the rooms are spacious and fairly comfortable. It's a good hotel for the value. Included is breakfast, which is freshly prepared,...
