We told that we would get a complimentary ride from the airport if we stayed for more than 2 nights. Wrong! We arrived at the hotel and the driver became irate with the receptionist, who went on to say, you must pay, sorry. OK mistakes happen. We were shown to our room, NOTHING LIKE the picture. The carpet had a fresh stain that smelt disgusting and the beds hadn't been changed. Apparently no other rooms were available.... We deicded to explore the city and had the most amazing food at KANGAROO CAFE. When we returned we were hassled about trips and tours with the hotel, when we said said we wanted to think baout it we got a hand in our face and some harsh words in Vietnamese. That night we couldnt sleep because the receptionist had his TV on so loud. When I went down to ask him to turn it down I a rat run across the room. We checked out the following day :( DISGUSTING PLACE, STAY CLEAR.

We spent three weeks in Vietnam and this was by far the worst place we stayed. Stains everywhere, staff attempting to force us to take their tours, staff sleeping on the floor of reception and worst of all - rats. One or two if the guys seemed nice but at the end of the day this is ment to be a business. I would not start here again.

Our three month tour of South-East Asia, started in the Brothers Hotel. It was clean and comfortable, although the corners of our room were very damp. They offered us a great range of trips to Ha Long Bay and Sapa etc. which was good, but we couldn't leave the hotel without someone trying to sell us yet another tour, which was annoying. All in all, this was a good start. Friendly, very helpful, comfortable. Bit of a sting in the tail when we went to pay up, they charged us for an extra day, without telling us their policies.

I have stayed in this hotel several days now during my stay in HaNoi and I find it meets my requirements (price and internet and comfort). I found out how to get it cheaper as well by going directly to them and doing the reservation and paying cash. I have heard they will set up their website to do online bookings in the future. They offer many tours, but I didnt do any as I am not a touring kind of person. The bus to the airport comes very near their hotel. I didn't try the free pickup service.

I've traveled through many countries: Thai land, Lao,Singapore, Malaysia, Germany but this was the first time in Vietnam. Never spent a little money than that when stay here. I stayed in Brothers hotel for 2 days then I left to go to Ha Long bay to enjoy. Hanoi is very beautiful I think. And hotel made impressive to me by the ways of nice staffs, the services they do(they booked for me the package tour through Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh for 2 weeks), the cleaness of the room and the location of hotel as well. For me, this is the best of the best small hotels in Hanoi. I give you my felling because one day maybe you come to Hanoi, you can have one more choice to stay without paying a lot of money like other hotel but very good for quality. I'm not sure to come back to Hanoi in the future but if once again I will stay in Brothers hotel one more time. It makes me happy and happy again for the memories I'm writing to you
