Boutique hotel on busy street of old quarter. Very friendly staff had a room with a balcony overlooking the busy street below fascinating to watch all the people passing by accompanied by the sounds and smells of lots of local eating places on the street. The room was a great size, very comfortably laid out with everything I needed. The breakfast was international with European and Asian specialities. There was also a massage parlour in the basement which was great value. The hotel is in walking distance of most of the Hanoi sights -more than happy to return.
We stayed here for two nights with our two children upon arriving in Vietnam. It's well located in the Old Quarter, the rooms are clean and well appointed, the bathrooms are spacious and functional, and the staff was nice. We especially enjoyed all the vegan options at breakfast. Not so much that meat-eaters would feel deprived :) but enough to generously fill my plate. :) The fresh fruit was also plentiful and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
This hotel is the best I ever been in the hearth of Hanoi. It's a nice small hotel with very good and well equipped rooms. The staff is extremly kind and helpful. Having a dinner at the rooftop restaurant is a highlight.
Excellent staff, lovely rooftop bar and the suite was amazing for the price. Highly recommended! Breakfast was well laid out. Food on the rooftop bar was lovely as were the cocktails. In difficult circumstances they remained professional and calm.
This hotel is perfect for location, central in the Old Quarter and a good point to getting around the city. We found most places at most 10 minute walk to get to. The rooms were clean and a good size with all amenities (apart from hair dryer). The staff very attentive and friendly. In addition to this, there is a rooftop bar which is peaceful and offers a place of calmness in a hustle and bustle city! All these areas are great however, during our stay there was work going on next door which the hotel couldn’t help but this kept us up both nights. Due to construction in the old quarter they do not carry out the work in the day to avoid noise and disruption to tourists but instead work through the night. This kept us awake and made our stay uncomfortable. I hope this is finishing soon and does not disrupt other travellers stay with you. If going on for a while I’d put people in the other part of the hotel to avoid disappointment. We only ate breakfast here which was average, there is a lot of choice but quality is average. I have given this hotel 3 stars which is a true reflection on our overall stay. …
