My wife and I stayed at the Oriental Central Hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi for two non-consecutive nights. Our experience was everything you could hope for from a hospitality experience. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and helped us with any and every issue that we had while traveling. The biggest help personally was when we returned...

Room was a wonderful retreat from the Hanoi heat...We had a Junior Suite with Window...room was a good size (even by US standards), tastefully decorated, and full of amenities (complimentary fruit, snacks, water, and a great breakfast was included). The customer service was excellent -- they arranged for cabs (told us how much was too much to pay when we...

stayed at the Oriental Central last week and was blown away by the level of service. It may not be the biggest or flashest hotels in Hanoi, but if you want to be in the heart of the old quarter and be treated like family, the Oriental Central is Fantastic! Special thanks to Anna, Kimmy and Henrry for organizing restaurant...

I've stayed in fancy business hotels in lots of cities, but I have never received better service than at this one. The staff simply cannot do enough for you. They're extremely friendly and efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. The air conditioning works as well.

This was our first time in Vietnam and to be welcomed so warmly after a 29 hour journey with two long stops from London was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted warmly and given delicious cold fruit drinks by a lovely young man who checked us in - sadly we don't remember his name, but he was excellent. Another brilliant front...

As a Dane who arrived in Vietnam for the very first time, the service in the hotel overwhelming. But don’t worry, relax and enjoy what is so unusual with us at home. Best example of the excellent service was when my daughter lost her iPhone in a taxi from a company NOT recommended to us. With a mixture of creativity,...

This hotel is the place to stay in Hanoi. We stayed here for 4 nights total, 3 nights in a row, then a second stay for one night after a trip to Sapa. We had pre booked trips to Sapa and Halong Bay, though the staff mentioned they could help us book those tours. However, the best part of this...

Top of the line, fantastic staff. Great location in the old quarter. Walking distance to the lake. Unfortunately, my departure flight was pushed back 8 hours and needed last minute extension of my stay but hotel was full for that day. They literally carried my luggage to the nearby partner hotel and explained the situation. Thanks to that, I was...

We found this place at the last minute and thankfully they had a room available. Mary and the staff we're so helpful and friendly it really was a great stay. The room was small but clean, tidy, modern and all you need after a long day on the streets. Great location and was by far the best and most personal...

We enjoyed our stay at the Oriental Central during our time in Hanoi. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter. The staff was very courteous and helpful with arranging a tour for us. The rooms are detailed in red and black with beautiful black and white photos of old Hanoi in the early/mid 1900's. The bed was comfortable...
