The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. They even brought out cake for my lovely wife's birthday. We booked a room with an internal window, which was very comfortable, quiet, clean and cool. Also, the hotel location is right in the middle of things and so easy to walk about. The staff arranged our transfers from and to the airport, which went without a hitch. We will be staying with them again for our last night in Vietnam and know we will be in safe hands!

Hotel located in a small lane right in the middle of old quarter with all the action and is in the walking street zone during weekend while we were visiting. It is close to everything we would expect in the heart of old quarter with plenty of food option available and yet away from the crazy traffic and noice. Hotel staff are very polite and well attentive with good English speaking. Room very clean with good size. The breakfast is wonderful. Highly recommend.

We didn't stay here at the Hanoi Pearl, we stayed around the corner at another beautiful hotel however I felt I needed to write this review as we visited the hotel on a few occasions for drinks and dinner and were lucky enough to encounter some amazing staff and a great experience! I travelled with my elderly mother to Hanoi who had some troubles gaining access to the rooftop bar in the hotel we were staying at due to the staircase (which was fine for everyone to climb except my mum as she has issues climbing stairs and these at our hotel were a bit windy for her), so we found the rooftop bar at the Hanoi Pearl easier to access physically. The barman, Michael and co were so amazingly friendly and helpful and made the most incredible cocktails! We pretty much went every night to happy hour! :) Would definitely recommend the rooftop bar, amazing views and cool and airconditioned room also if you dont wish to it out in the heat. We also went to the restaurant a couple of times for dinner, a HUGE thank you to Julie Cham who looked after us incredibly well even though we were not staying at the hotel Julie was the most caring and lovely girl, so sweet and kind and was the reason we returned to the hotel so many times, thank you Julie! Even Jimmy at the front door was so wonderful and helpful! Be sure to visit the Hanoi Pearl for drinks for dinner even if you're not staying, what a lovely and beautiful place - so glad we found you! …

Excellent location right near the lake so perfect for walking streets in the weekend. Room is as very soundproofed. Breakfast was delicious and varied a bit each day. Room was very clean. Staff were great. Have a drink at Polite & Co across the road in the evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The prices are very affordable. From the accommodations to other services. The front desk staff are helpful and caring. When they heard my daughter got pickpocketed, I was approached and caring and comforting words were shared. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Beds and linens are comfortable. Location is also very good. Near the lake, bars, restaurants. The local experience is also just outside the hotel. Local authentic food just a few steps away.

The hotel is situated in a top location close to all attractions and facilities. The room and the hotel were very clean and tidy, and all the staff were extremely helpful and polite. A huge thank you to Jimmy Nguyen and Heidy for providing an outstanding service and bending over backwards to assist us with our many requests and enquiries. We found them both knowledgeable and professional, well done ! We will definitely stay at Hanoi Pearl Hotel again on our next holiday to Hanoi.

Lovely helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast was nice. Rooms clean and spacious. Located on a central but quiet street. Walking distance to the lake and 10 minute walk to night market and beer street. Coffee shops near and plenty of places to eat in close distance.

Great hotel. Clean with spacious rooms and great amenities. Most importantly the staff has been super nice and helpful. The daily breakfast has a lot of variety and the rooftop bar is amazing with beautiful views. Also, booking direct was easy and a better deal. I think they also gave us a better room for booking direct.

Warm service, quiet and comfortable rooms, great location. The breakfast buffet had a beautiful fruit spread, and the pancakes were delicious! We wanted to visit the top floor bar for its view of the lake but didn't make it up this trip. Next time!
