Laundry service available which was handy. Rooms were quite noisy however as there were lots of fellow backpackers coming in at the early hours of the morning and the walls were quite thin. Would have appreciated a colder shower in this weather but the coldest temperature actually left me feeling warm when I had wanted to jump in the shower...

Well accommodating for my first night staying in Vietnam! It's clean, has friendly and accommodating staff, a relaxing foyer to hang out and use the wifi while planning the day/unwinding and a good breakfast buffet. The room I stayed in was good and like other reviews...had a firm mattress (standard in Vietnam!), cold A/C, a wifi router in the room/hallway...

This Hotel is in easy walking distance to lots of attractions. There are a couple of good bakeries nearby and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast had some good options and we found going over the road to the bakery and getting beautiful fresh bread for breakfast just set the day off to a great start. There are a couple...

Stayed here for first night of Intrepid tour. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I was tired and the room suited my needs. The beds are firm but I found that this is fairly standard in Vietnam Hotels. Good breakfast laid on in the morning. The bathroom was fine but slightly dated; the WiFi was better downstairs. Apart from that...

We stayed at the Hong Ngoc 5 Hotel for 2 nights during a recent trip to Vietnam. We would recommend this as a good place to stay in Hanoi if you’re after somewhere comfortable and clean to stay not too far from the old quarter. ROOM • Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. • The décor & furnishings were...

We had a bad experience here with some very rude staff members acting arrogantly and at times slightly aggressively towards us. Hopefully this is not a representation of the whole chain of hotels. Also they have a system of recommending you certain types of taxis, tours and restaurants which they likely have some reciprocal relationship with. Watch the double standard...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a tour from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min. Very nicely decorated hotel, the lobby area is surprisingly so. The rooms, we stayed in two different ones, tend to be odd shapes and cramped, but the that's just the nature of the older buildings in these neighbourhoods, part of the charm! The location is...

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedbacks We are always appreciate our customers’s reviews. As you know, because of the limited area in the old quarter, our Hong Ngoc Hotel was constructed in that way. Sometimes we are reluctant to keep rooms for big groups in two different wings(of the same hotel). We are very glad to get your understanding We...

Inspired by the French protectorate, Hong Ngoc Annam is named after the central territory of Vietnam during the 19th century. Our boutique hotel is situated on ‘Hang Bac - Silver Street’- the busiest and the most famous old street in Hanoi.
