Today, I faced with a very naughty, uneducated on-duty staff, that I have never experienced before with 4-5 star hotels and residences for the past 15 years travelling across Asia and US.I suggest that you guys don't book, stay or stop by to not experience such a terrific service like me.
Situated in one of the tallest building in Vietnam: Landmark 72, Calidas main residents are Korean & Japanese. Since it is situated just beside a business center, a lot of such companies (Samsung, LG, etc) put their staff families here. This do upset some of the Caucasian residents here where they believe such nice place can only fill with white people. As for the hotel, I like the place; but it’s too far from the city center so unless you are in a business trip, you fare better staying in the city center. The breakfast buffet is acceptable, but I don’t find bacons like how I used to see in Saigon. The room comes with a paid gym membership throughout your stay, so please utilise them.
It was the first time that i came to Vietnam. It was so amazing as I had assigned to stay on 56th floor( Hanoi view from my room). Maybe I could stay in higher floor if hotel was not high occupancy like that. Resident staffs were helpful and friendly. They reminded to me about pick pocket may happen, guide interesting places, introducing Hanoi Capital. Calidas had provided to me with Good breakfast and room was cleaned and fitness facility is well equipmented. Thanks and I will come back soon.
I had 2 nights staying here for my business trip. I felt the service quality was so excellent. I arrived around 10a.m after an overnight flight and I were able to check in straight away (although check-in time is 2p.m) and later, i also were able to get late check out (really appreciated). I enjoyed my sleep really well on the comfortable bed. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Especially the front desk officer, Ms.Hue (or Ms. Kim, i don't really remember),was wonderful and extraordinarily kind .I hope to see her again next stay in Calidas Hanoi. Hueさん、役に立って有難うね。
This hotel violates personal property law and immigration and resident law by insisting to keep visitor’s documents (ID CARD). In written form policy of the hotel as well as Vietnamese law, visitor only have to present ID Card to check in and they are not allowed to keep ID ( see the pictures attached) Anh she is the one who forced me to leave ID, I don’t have time to waste so I left it at reception but I can’t understand their lack of law understanding as well as company’s policy!
Top level apartment hotel in Hanoi, literally with my room being on 58th floor. Rooms are very clean, not a spec of the dust, big and roomy. Bathrooms are equally as good. Service was excellent for me, had no issues with staff from reception to restaurant but i did not spend much time in the room. I only had breakfast in the hotel for one day, while good at hotel standards there are much better placed around the hotel to enjoy good breakfast. One thing that i noticed is large amount of Korean guests who were incredibly rude towards local employees to the point where you feel uncomfortable. Good place to stay if working near here.
What surprised me was to hear the Korean language spoken the moment I enter the lift lobby to get to reception at the 48th floor! Apparently I found out that it is mini Korean community in that area. Restaurants in that building are mostly Korean. Breakfast buffet was mainly Korean as well! Mingling amongst the breakfast crowd were Korean school students getting ready for school. A place where Korean expats and their families are staying. Hotel room was comfortable and clean. WiFi speed excellent. Breakfast spread big enough for good varieties for the 3 mornings I was there. But the surrounding area is really quiet with nothing much to do. The shopping complex where building is situated is largely quiet and quite a few unoccupied.
The facilities are new model and staff is very friendly and helpful. Hight floor bring very good view with observatory top. Free coffee all day and green garden on reception area. Convinience for my business. Hight recommend!
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as our office was next door. it was very convenient from that respect. breakfast was so-so, i think it was more catered for Asian type of breakfast than westerners. i wished there were more continental breakfast served. there are restaurants on the 8th floor. Again , more catered to Japanese, Koreans, Chinese customers. The room was very spacious, bed comfortable.
Perhaps constructed by Korean company, there are so many Koreans living there, in which is a complex building rather than a hotel. There is very convenient for people who comes for business purpose, the room is spacious and clean, just like working at home. plus no need to go outside looking for food or coffee, cause there are already many of shops, cafes and supermarket at the building.
