Stayed here recently for 5 nights and found it very comfortable and in a great location in the city of Hanoi. The interior of the hotel and the rooms are a bit dated and slightly old fashioned but this adds to the charm of the hotel in the location it is in. Large room with good sized bathroom, clean and comfortable. Great powerful shower to wake you up in the morning. The sports bar in the hotel is good but expensive so only visited here once but all of the staff in and around the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the morning is large and plenty of choice and of good quality, something to suit all tastes. Ideal base for exploring Hanoi.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed in the Hanoi Hilton last year on a business trip, and now I'm back again for a longer stay. I love this hotel for an extended stay like that, they go miles out of their way to offer a very high standard of service. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously clean. Granted I'm on the executive floor, but in NYC this would be a $500 per night room, and I'm paying far, far less. Viet Nam is still enough off the beaten track that prices are a great deal. A word about the service at the hotel, which continues to blow me a way. All of Viet Nam has a high service standard -- their culture makes them warm, hospitable and friendly. The hotel goes above and beyond though, a welcome change from NY attitude or Moscow surliness. Somehow there was a mixup, and I wasn't booked for early check-in when I arrived. After 36 continuous hours of travel, I badly needed a bed. So the manager waived the fee, asked me to take a few minutes for a free breakfast, and had a room ready for me 10 minutes later. I asked for directions to a store where I could buy a pair of scissors (couldn't bring mine on the flight), so the desk staff went running to get me a pair of scissors. The woman who cleans the room ran for extra bottles of water when she saw I was going through them quickly. Little touches like that make a traveller feel at home. Food is great too. There are 3 restaurrants, plus the breakfast buffet in the morning. I love all the local Vietnamese dishes, but they serve nice continental dishes as well, if that's your preference. Looks like I've landed a long term contract in Hanooi, so I look forward to staying here again and again.

It is a god hotel for business trips. Bellboys are attentive but the front desk staff are not as attentive. They do what they are expected to do at a business hotel but nothing more, nothing less. I had an issue with a fedex package and they were not as interested in helping me with it. Bellboys were more attentive and they took care of it but not the front desk staff. Overall, okay hotel for a day or two at the max. Not very family friendly though. Location is not bad but the traffic around the hotel makes it difficult to walk around.

Stayed here for the first time and found it to be a very good experience, value for money with attentive staff. The decor does appear dated but the rooms are clean and well maintained. Cannot beat the location.

The hotel was ok, typical Hilton hotel at a 4 star level. Breakfast was good but not special, staff is very friendly. It’s a nice hotel but very “cold” atmosphere in July off season in Hanoi. Pool is small but refreshing after a humid day in the city. No bar available or food in the pool
