First visit we had a room on the 8th floor. Lovely view of the Lake and also round to the Red River. Room was nice. Problem that the heavy desk was in front of the windows which meant you couldn't get right up close to the windows to take photos. Problems with reflections. Bed nice and comfortable. Ate breakfast at...

Nice hotel, situated on the corner of West Lake and a major road. The rooms were very comfortable (we had a deluxe room) and the service was impeccable. It is a little trek to the major shopping and Old Quarter areas, and you would need a taxi to get there, but should cost about VND 50,000 to 60,000 to get...

I stayed at the renamed Pan Pacific Hotel Hanoi for a conference that I was presenting at. The rooms are a little bit dated, but still comfortable. I liked the soaking tub. The bed and pillows were average. The service, particularly in the executive lounge, was spot on. The recommendations for restaurants were great. The service during the breakfast and...

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. My room was spacious, clean and bright. My housekeeping lady Hoang was very helpful, lovely and ensured all my needs were met. The breakfast is good, with a varied spread. Wish they would extend the hours till 10:30. The location of the hotel is pretty convenient as it's walking distance to many sights...

Rooms are first class with a master control panel for all of the lights. View was potentially very nice but the smog obscured it most days. Room service was very quick to provide additional water and ice at no cost. Carpet was getting a bit tired in one of our rooms.

This hotel has beautiful views of the lake, very comfortable rooms, and excellent service. The included breakfast (buffet + menu) is quite good -- thanks to Loan for her gracious service. The hotel gave my husband and me 2 pieces each free laundry per day, a nice custom I hadn't encountered before. And the dim sum in the Chinese restaurant...

Stayed in this Hotel because the Intercontinental was full. It's supposed to be a five star hotel, but I would struggle to give it four stars. Particularly as it's £40 more expensive per night. Very dated decor, most rooms are worn and dilapidated. Food is okay, but not what I would expect from a Hotel of this status. Is used...
