This hotel is very impressive, I think easily the nicest in Hanoi. The style, elegance and taste level is unsurpassed. We also fell in love with the Hermes bath amenities. Like seriously we are still talking about them. But there are a few things I think we can work on. We sent a private review directly to the hotel and...

My partner and I just retuned from Hanoi and fell in love with the Sofitel Metropole Legend Hotel. I am rather acute to details and am hard to impress. I have to tell you that this hotel really was an unexpected treat and left me speechless. We booked the Opera Wing, Grand Premium Room with Club Metropole Benefits. We were...

You could almost be in Paris in this delightful hotel. Beautiful room with a big bathtub and fantastic service! The ambiance was relaxing but professional. We are in both the French and Vietnamese style restaurants and both were phenomenal by international standards.

Beautiful room, large king, desk, mini bar, in room water heater for coffee. Wood floors in the bedroom, marble in the bath. Comfy bed linens and pillow - a really good nights sleep. Extra deep bath tub might be hard for older guests or those with hip knee problems. Good shower pressure. Amazing breakfast with Vietnamese specialties and dim sum...

People say it's the only place to stay in Hanoi, for a reason. Upgraded to the Graham Greene suite in the original part of the hotel, we felt as if we were living in the 1930s but with modern touches -- and with the "American war of aggression" not far from memory, with the bomb shelter and photos of Joan...

This five star hotel is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are there to help with what ever you want (and even some things you never thought of). The staff dress in traditional asian attire and bow everytime they greet you. They hold the door open for you...

$$$$$$ We are on tour. We have enjoyed staying here. Service, rooms, etc all wonderful but we would not stay here if travelling on our own. It is in the French quarter. You certainly get what you pay for.

Our large room was in the Opera wing. The decor was tasteful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large as well. The daily breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. The spa was immaculately clean and the massage was excellent

If you remove the fact that everyone else knows this is THE place to stay in Hanoi (so there are lots of well-heeled tourists) it was an outstanding hotel and a great experience. The hotel is lovely throughout. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed. Didn't love the open bathroom design (basically the bathroom was part of the bedroom separated...

Wonderful! Staff were incredibly friendly, service faultless and food was very good. Location wise also good, near enough to the shops but away from the noise. A hotel that retains it's colonial charm but with all the modern comforts.
