This hotel has some bad reviews but I'm not really sure why. The room we stayed in was absolutely wonderful. We loved the huge bed, huge tv. The air conditioning was good. There was nothing wrong with our bathroom. The WiFi wasn't the strongest in the room but worked well in the lobby. I can't remember what the breakfast was... More

The bellman has spoken sharply and showed his action like "I DON'T CARE" ! Staffs and manager were not professtional at all. Right after complaining about the bellman to them, the manager came and said to me "If you are not happy here, just cancel your booking on Agoda, our hotel will give 100% money back to you!" UNBELIEVABLE !!!... More

Only four days in Hanoi, but time well spent here. Our second time to the Landmark and once again we were not disappointed. Airport pick up was included in the price and this was a welcome bonus for us. The hotel is small, but the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Close to the old... More

My friend and I booked for a twin room but we were given a double room on the top floor located next to the staff quarters. Besides the fact being located next to the staff quarters and electrical vault, that room was really really hot. So we enquired at the concierge about the discrepancy of our booking and the actual... We arrived at the landmark hotel quite late one night after a flight from Ho Chi Minh City, it was relatively easy to find and we were greeted very warmly by the male receptionist. The standard of cleanliness in our room was poor by Vietnamese standards, and included mould in the window frames, behind the TV unit and in the... More

The staff are really lovely, so I feel a bit bad about leaving a negative review. However it is the truth. There were 5 main concerns: the bathroom was tiny and the shower ridiculously small, and it was really hard to close the door when using the WC; the balcony door wouldn't close and the loud noise from the trains... stayed for 3 nights ,to get to old quarter you have to walk pass every type of animal and fish being butchered as the hotel is on a street of butcher stalls ,one good thing you will never need an early wake up call ,the maids clatter there trolley up and down the corridor from 8 am but don't worry... The staff were very helpful. We did get offered an upgrade to a superior room...which meant we got a window and a bit bigger room, so glad we took the offer for an extra $7 on. Room was clean, bed very large...and hard. Seems all beds are rock hard in Asia though.
