My stay here was before Trip Advisor even existed, so the date I had to choose for this post is not accurate. I became very ill while visiting Vietnam and decided I should fly back home. I went to the airport to wait for the next available flight, but there were none until the next day. I hailed a cab and asked him to take me to the nearest hotel -- this is where he took me. I booked an air conditioned room and explained that I was ill. The room was simple, but more than adequate, clean, quiet and cool. The staff helped me into the room and then went the extra step of trying to find food for me. One of the young men walked me to a nearby cafe. He explained to the cafe staff that I was not feeling well and they gave me good rice and some plain chicken which was delicious and good for my stomach. The young man would not leave because he wanted to make sure I made it back to the hotel safely. He would not accept any gratuity for his trouble. In the morning they brought me a breakfast from the cafe and then drove me to the airport for no extra charge. I will never forget their kindness.…
Do not eat here. So dirty I saw one of the waitress doing the ham sandwich. She handles everything with her hands disgusting on the counter top where there's money etc. this place is so unhygienic. Bring your own food. We got sick even though we ordered instant noodles thinking its the safest choice
I booked this hotel via email from their webpage. Firstly, their webpage is full of lies. There is no restaurant, no breakfast, etc. We chose it for it's convenience, but this made it very inconvenient. However once we were there the taxi had gone and we didn't fancy dragging our bags down the road to try to find another hotel. Once we had chosen to stay the staff were very accommodating. Free water and a free taxi to the airport the next morning. The beds were firm but this was OK. They appeared to be clean, but I didn't inspect too closely. In summary it was what I'd expect for $20/night, but then again I've not stayed at a $20/night hotel before.
Basic hotel that was fine for 1 night before airport. Bed hard but room really spacious and clean. Tried to charge me 25 dollars for a room that I was told by a local from another hotel that it was only 300000 dong. Got the room for 300000 dong in the end but perhaps there are different prices for foreigners to locals which seems a little unfair. 25 dollars is far too expense for the room. Taxi issue - I pre paid for a taxi from hotel to airport. 100000 dong which I thought was a little pricey. When I got to the airport the taxi driver said that the hotel had not paid him and I must pay him. I explained that I had paid and he must ask the hotel for money. He then started to get ether aggressive taking my bag off me and telling me we had to go back to the hotel. I obviously couldn't do this as I had a flight to get so after a long dispute I had to pay him the money again otherwise I wouldnt of had my bag to get on the flight. This was such a sad way to finish what had been a good trip to Vietnam. So call for your own taxi and pay by the meter and don't pay more than 300000 dong for a room. …
If you stay on arrival in Vietnam you would be shocked, if on departure, disappointed. The bed was hell and hard. One bottom sheet with a hole in it and no cover on the quilt which felt and smelt of others. One thread bare towel between two. Curtains that did not keep the flashing lights from across the lane out. No food available nearby so had to take a taxi some distance to eat. Brought some back for later but they could not even warm it up. No coffee or drinks in the room or jug for that matter. Rained about 10pm and I got up about 12:30 to toilet only to find water over the floor and wet bags. Checked out on the spot and went to the airport and sat outside until it opened at 4am. This hotel will always be remembered. Two things they will never get are good non-fiction reviews and repeat business.…
