It is a good place to stay, people are nice and the breakfast is delicious! However we had a huge problem when we bought the bus ticket with the receptionist to go to other cities (we were told that the we had no reservations and that our tickets were canceled!!).

Clean dorms. Great showers. Much nicer area to be based in than the old quarter, which is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The food around here is much cheaper and far better. The staff are the highlight though, happy to help with anything and always keen to have a laugh. Higher floors are quieter but have progressively worse water... More

Wicked hostel. Free beer 7-8, free shot every hour, and good offers on drinks. Nice vibe. Lift isn't the most regular so ask for 2/3/4th floor. There is a chef special the is chicken, bacon and rice which is amazing. This place rocks!

We booked our trips to Ha Long Bay and Sapa through the hostel and both were great value and a lot of fun. The happy hour is great and although some people say the beer isn't great it's more a way to meet people and then there's a bar crawl afterwards

Staff were instantly friendly upon my arrival. No booking was necessary and I got a bed in the same room as my friends who were already staying here. Helpful guidelines downstairs and was easy to understand how the hostel worked. Pretty standard rooms with decent beds and fairly clean. Bathroom was nice for such a low price although the hot... The mattresses - Jesus Christ. I've slept on softer concrete. Honestly, I'm writing this whilst trying to get to sleep on one. The top bunks have about an inch of bar to stop you headbutting the floor during the night - not good enough. The balconys are a death trap - they're tiled with shiny, slippery white tiles. Again with... More

I was amazed to find a room free that I could check into immediately despite the normal check in time being 11am. Thankfully this hostel had a lift to transport me to my 5th floor dorm and I didn't have to climb the stairs with my heavy bag. The room itself is comfortable with a en suite bathroom and balcony... I love the location of this hostel. Also the staff and facilities in this hostel are topnotch. At the same time, it is very easy to make friends at this hostel. I stayed in a dorm room on the 6th floor which had beds for 8th people. The bathroom is right in the room and is clean for the most... More

I stayed there for 3 nights and it has a good location, staff are really nice. We had a problem with the tour to Halong Bay and they helped us with everything. Breakfast is simple, but it's ok, mattress not so good, but everything was very clean. They have free beer from 7pm to 8pm!
