Thank you for our recent stay at your hotel. We found the location very convenient and the service exceptional. We appreciated the feeling of welcome and attentive service in the restaurant. We slept so well on the very comfortable beds and pillows. The kids loved retreating to the roof top pool after a hot day visiting the sights around Hanoi.

A heritage hotel in Hanoi lost its soul to the industrialized "experts" of Accor. Start with the decor: awful taste in the rooms (catering to Chinese customers?). The lobby: acceptable, without charm, one could be anywhere. Service: mediocre at best, unknowledgeable staff. Friendly enough but mechanical. Very mediocre spa: old, small and confrontational staff. I had a complaint about the...

The Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi is located conveniently in the high-end shopping district within walking distance from Hoan Kiem Lake and the old quarter. If you are prepared to walk and wander around on foot, this is a great base. It is also just around the corner from the very elegant Metropole Hotel, branded retail, comfortable cafes, good restaurants and...

The Hotel de L'Opera was a charming hotel in a great location in Hanoi. Overall, we had a great experience with the hotel, however we felt as though there was nothing absolutely amazing about the place. The location is wonderful. So close to the Opera House and Ho Hoa Kiem lake. There's tons of restaurants in the neighborhood, and it...

Hotel de l'Opera is a very well located and friendly hotel that unfortunatley suffers from major style mistakes. The rooms are quite large but suffer from being styled like a french bordello from the 1980's - not that I'm and expert on this period. The room is exrtremely underlit, i had to use the torch app on my phone to...

Dear Tim L, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review on Tripadvisor. I am regret to learn that your stay with us is not totally as you expected. A concept of "A Night at the Opera" was well-blended into the colonial architecture and the theatrical interior design, which were loved by many of our guest. However,...

Great location and very modern hotel. Beds great but so high it made us laugh. Restaurant food ok. As I have food allergies I check each time whether the food I ordered contained triggers.
