The Hotel de L'Opera was a charming hotel in a great location in Hanoi. Overall, we had a great experience with the hotel, however we felt as though there was nothing absolutely amazing about the place. The location is wonderful. So close to the Opera House and Ho Hoa Kiem lake. There's tons of restaurants in the neighborhood, and it... More

Hotel de l'Opera is a very well located and friendly hotel that unfortunatley suffers from major style mistakes. The rooms are quite large but suffer from being styled like a french bordello from the 1980's - not that I'm and expert on this period. The room is exrtremely underlit, i had to use the torch app on my phone to... More

This hotel is not for those who like BIG Lobby. This hotel is for those who like Very special cuisine with a Butler Very central location in the heart of Hanoi Art details in everywhere including restaurants, room and even Toilets. Don't expect big rooms but expect very good service and reasonable prices. A 24 hours gym comes part of... More

Check in was great, straightforwards. The room was wonderful and large as we had a suite. The service was excellent. Loved the Platinum nibbles and drinks in the evening. Location is close to both hi end retail and the old quarter. Service very swift and personable. The travel centre helpful and much better than some other we tried else where.... More

Great location and very modern hotel. Beds great but so high it made us laugh. Restaurant food ok. As I have food allergies I check each time whether the food I ordered contained triggers. One night I ordered a dish containing ratatouille. They said they would make without onion but after I had started eating the meal I pulled apart... More

South of the lake, this hotel is located in the "upper east end" of Hanoi, i.e prada, Burberry are neighbours. Still close enough for 10 minute walk to Nirth of lake for street food. Bed is huge and amazingly lush. Huge rain shower and clean amenities. Fitness gym is huge with heaps if equipment. Pool is great for sunbathing and... More

An opulent hotel as befitting the name. We stayed for 2 nights as part of an incentive itinerary. The room was not overly large but well furnished with an over-size bed. Bathroom was spacious with a rain shower and separate toilet - the single basin was a negative. Wifi is good throughout. The breakfast was adequate to good, withe a... More

We were truly enchanted by our stay at this hotel. The rooms are stunning with a very modern touch and all you could need. Special thumbs up to the shower samples and the nice staff. You can enjoy a terrific view of the opera from the swimming pool area. If your rate doesn't include breakfast, have it at Saint Honore... More

We have just stayed at another M Gallery Hotel in April in France called the Balthazar Hotel & Spa and it was exceptional. With similar expectations on this Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi, we used the hotel's limousine with a GLK Benz to pick us up from the airport and all was good until we've just checked into the hotel. It...
