Nestled in the heart of Hanoi, Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi emerges as a favorite for its stellar locale, making it a breeze for visitors to immerse themselves in the city's culture. The staff's exceptional service and the hotel's cleanliness are universally celebrated, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere that blends historic charm with contemporary ease. While the value proposition receives mixed reviews, the amenities—from the praised breakfast to the quality pool and gym—enhance the stay for many. However, a few guests suggest the rooms could benefit from improved lighting.

The hotel is in a good location as easy to explore French and Old quarter from here. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast as nice buffet choices. We also enjoyed the happy hour in the bar area and ended up eating there some nights as the food was good, even if not great variety. The rooms are very comfortable, but are rather dark and could do with more light or perhaps lighter furnishings.

This is a well located hotel. The staff are kind and accommodating. The oversized king bed very comfortable in the deluxe room. We were given early check-in and late checkout. The room 217 was so quiet. Lovely breakfast with so many choices which catered for dietary needs. We ate at the restaurant several times which was consistently good. We loved the pillow menu too.

The Hotel L'Opera is in the Old Quarter, a great area of Hanoi. The hotel is close to many restaurants and the Hoan Kiem Lake. The breakfast is very good and the staff were flexible and made vegetarian options for us. However, the rooms are old and outdated. They are dark and I noticed the bathroom (the toilet specifically) had a strong and foul smell. This, for me, ruined my stay, so I would not recommend it.

Located a short 5 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, this property seems to be a popular location for photo shoots with the locals. Reception a bit on the small side but very neat and well organized and welcoming. The room that I had was very well appointed but as it had the court yard view, it was a bit dim. Then again, it was away from the road and therefore very quiet. The gym is one of the better ones of all the properties that I stayed in whilst in Hanoi. Breakfast was very decent with a great selection of cheeses. The egg station is one of the few that can consistently produce the perfect poached egg. Overall, a very pleasant stay

We had a wonderful two night stay at this exceptional hotel. On arrival late in the evening, we were offered an upgrade as ALL ACCOR platinum members and looked after with such care and kindness, not just on our arrival but throughout our entire stay. Tuyet and Linh could not have been more helpful and set the tone for the entire duration of our stay. Our wonderful suite upgrade was such a welcome and unexpected surprise. We felt very spoilt. Breakfast each morning and drinks during happy hour added to hat as a wonderful start to our three week holiday in Vietnam. We would have absolutely no hesitation in booking a further stay should we return to Hanoi in the future. This hotel clearly takes pride in its care of its guests!

We stayed here for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We also tried out Sofitel Metropole, which is a much better hotel but you pay almost 75% more. De L’Opera MGallery is an excellent choice for a lovely 5* boutique hotel that ticks all boxes. You can’t beat the location; just 5 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem lake. It is also at the bottom end of the old quarter. The hotel staff were lovely; very helpful, courteous, and attentive, with welcoming smile. The food at the restaurant is good and they accept Accor Plus. We changed US$ at the hotel at the same rate as the airport. Just above 24,000 dongs for a US$, when the XE app shows 24,300 dongs. Most attractions are reachable by Grab for less than US$3. When we visit Hanoi next time, we will be happy to stay here. We used booking.com for the airport transfer, both ways.

The best coffee I’ve ever had! In addition, comfortable, chic, boutique, and family friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed swimming after supper until 10pm and then waking up to a delicious breakfast before heading out to a buzzing, crazy, fun city.

The hotel is beautifully appointed with attentive staff. The location is exceptional , close to all the evening entertainment and activities. Within the hotel is the Harmonie spa where my wife and I enjoyed exceptional Massages , in particular Cham’s massage was spot on, 90 minutes was not long enough !
