Having home stay in the name is a bit of a misnomer - this is more of a boutique resort (max 25 pax) where you are treated like royalty. We stayed for two nights on the recommendation of our Vietnamese travel agent and where a bit unsure of what to expect. From the moment that we arrived we were made... More

We had a fantastic stay at Moon Garden. The grounds and buildings are immaculately kept and make for a very restful atmosphere. We were travelling with our 11 month old and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They would take him for a walk around the garden during meal times and provided us with a bicycle with child seat... More

Thoroughly enjoyable. Friendly, welcoming and easy going. Food is superb and hospitality second to none. We had the place to ourselves so was extra special. Pure tranquility and a gentle pace to the day with a focus on comfortable exclusivity. Definitely recommended for those looking for a break from the city.

This was the first place we visited on our two week holiday around Vietnam and it was certainly a highlight! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beautiful and peaceful Moon Garden Homestay. Our hosts and guide whilst we were there were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed all the different activities including the fun of the cooking school, the... More

Moon Garden Homestay is a 90-minute drive from Hanoi, and even though we thrive on the chaos and confusion of a busy city, once we drove into the grounds we knew we were in for a complete contrast to the previous couple of days. Our room, The Pomelo, was quite breathtaking and one of the most interesting rooms I have ever... More

From all the reviews I expected more. Our room was great, the food was very average and bland , although presented very prettily. There is a big electricity pylon in the middle of the garden and a main road at the other side of the river just near enough to hear and see. The staff are charming . Pros and... More

and I'm very glad we accepted their suggestion. The homestay is absolutely wonderful. Very spacious bedroom with a nice bathroom. The bedroom shares a lounge area with another bedroom, but no one occupied the other bedroom, so it was all to ourselves. Unfortunately, the weather was very cold, so we did not enjoy the lounge. We had a heater which... More

We had a wonderful weekend at this resort. The historical buildings where you will sleep are beautiful and the interior fits perfect with the historical theme. At the resort are some historical buildings and together with the nice gardens it makes this resort a charming, calm and beautiful place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was great... More

This appeared to be much more than a home stay, although we did not stay overnight. We had a wonderful lunch and an interesting herb massage to our hands and feet after a lovely cycle outing in the surrounding area. We thought that it would have been lovely to stay over as it is quit a drive from Hanoi. If... More
