The hotel really had a grand lobby. Although we arrived late at night, the lone staff in the reception area was accommodating. It took awhile to check-in though since we were a group of 6 persons. The room was comfortable with the basic amenities. We also enjoyed our breakfast as the food spread was good. I loved the fruits! Since I was there for a meeting, the location was accessible to the Convention Center. We also had an easy time getting grab cars for tours around the city.

The hotel is located nearby Vincom mall, a shopping center, good access if you want to do a little shopping. It has a big room, but the furniture style I feel a bit like Chinese style. Very comfy bed.
The breakfast is too little food selection to me, I expected at this hotel level it should have more variety of food for breakfast.
Most of staff have good English and good hospitality.

While its not the best in Hanoi by a long way, I was actually pleasantly surprised compared to the reviews i had read. I found the service helpful and responsive, the building and rooms in good shape and overall experience positive. So overall good- though importantly not near any of the tourist areas

Worst ever service I had experienced. I stayed at GRAND PLAZA HANOI and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience at their breakfast service. the staff’s behavior and service were a huge letdown. All the staff members appeared disengaged, with some even being outright rude. They seemed uninterested in helping or answering questions , and at one point, we had to wait for more than 15 minutes to ask for a coffee refill. I came with my family we were 22 people. Lack of Professionalism: The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, with staff members chatting among themselves and neglecting their duties. It made the entire breakfast experience unpleasant. Ver very upset.

We booked this hotel through Luxury Escapes. We walked into our room, it stunk of mold. The door did not lock, the air con was stuck on 25.5 degrees. We went upstairs to have a massage and use the spa and sauna and were absolutely shocked. There was visible mold everywhere, hundreds of dead cockroaches in the gym lockers. We checked out early and were refunded.

Check in staff and chambermaids are all very polite and ever ready to provide assistance. Room amenities is average and cleanliness is very good, could be improved for better guest satisfaction. Breakfast choice is limited, but good enough .

The Lobby looks like a train station entrance with little decor.

For the price, you can get better service at smaller, more centric hotel. The facilities were there, but they don't have enough personals to make it work smoothly. Breakfast was average and it took a decent amount of time to check in. Our room is spacious though.
