I recently spent four nights here, and from the outset of being collected at the airport I was impressed. The flight was a late arrival, but not a problem with a friendly welcome upon arrival, a nice explanation of the premises (wi-fi password, breakfast, etc.) and immediate surrounds. Very tidy room and facilities. The next morning I had a number of suggestions provided to me about what I could do in Hanoi or tours in the surrounding countryside. With the tours I was provided a number of options per tour, the only suggestion for improvement is to find out what tips might be appropriate that way you're carrying the right amount of cash. City maps are available on hand, as was advice regarding ways to prevent being taken advantage of, including the recommended taxi services. Enjoyed my breakfast each morning with different offerings. I will be back soon, I'm keen to try the next level of luxury in rooms after seeing the upgrade my friend got. Both of us got great value for our money.…
We chose this hotel out of many for the great location, price and reviews. It is only 1/2 block from the Sapa Express bus stop and a block and a half from Hoan Kiem Lake and the temple. Our top floor lake view room was a dream: two full walls of windows! A balcony too, very romantic. The translucent walls of the bathroom are a bit peculiar but make the room feel more spacious. Very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit is included. The desk worker arranged the 5 am airport taxi we needed and woke up to wait with us when we came down. Super nice people. The only drawback I might see is that you need to climb stairs to the elevator, which does not come down to the ground floor and only to the 7th floor.
Most of my group moved rooms because a large number just don't have windows and are very small. That said the staff were very accommodating in changing rooms twice for us. Make sure your room is NOT near the spiral staircase. It is very noisy. We were there Feb 2020, do not go until the building next door is finished. Yes you've got it , it's a very large building site and the noise starts at 7 am and finishes at 6pm. Breakfast was OK however the room was not large enough to accommodate all for for a sit down breakfast. REMEMBER THE VIETNEMESE DO NOT DO FRESH MILK OR BUTTER. You have been warned. Staff amazing just brilliant. I'd go back because of the front desk personnel. The location is fantastic in the middle of the old quarter and everything is walk able or by cab. Enjoy
in heart of old town so very convenient for exploring the area. Staff very helpful. Room a little tired but adequate and lovely and quiet. Hotel v good at ordering a grab cab for us and suggesting that on the return to the hotel the cab should come right to the door and the staff would check that one is paying the right amount for cab fare. Soo easy to get ripped off by cabs in the city.
Small room hard bed , noisy and the AC was broken . Glad we were only staying one night . The shower is a cubical the bedroom it's self, so if you want a long shower there will be a condensation problem in the room . Badly designed poorly thought out.
