Rats everywhere - crawling in the rooms. The staff seem to know about this issue but are not doing anything to help; friends we were staying with had rat bites on their sheets and when they asked for a new room they were just given new sheets. They don't seem to understand what the real problem is. When they finally...

Need I say more? Had to move 3 times to get a room with aircon. Other friends came back and their sheets were eaten through by rats. Rat poo on the window sill in the restaurant. We came here as part of a tour group an I hope the company changes using this place because I would never stay here....

Room was outdated and in urgent need of renovation. Most staff were reasonably friendly but English was very poor. Breakfast was barely adequate but tablecloths were dirty and staff in the dining room very unfriendly. Hotel was extremely noisy in early mornings.

The Hotel is starting to show its age and is in need of a renovation otherwise it was very good for a 2 star hotel (you get what you pay for) is centrally located for most attractions. Would not recommend the included breakfast.

We stayed in this hotel in Early 2015 as part of a tour group. In our first room we asked to be moved due to a huge Leak in the shower that flooded the bathroom. We were treated with sustain by the staff who moved us to a room with the same problem as well as a huge 1-1.5 meter...

We stayed two nights at the Van Mieu as part of a tour and weren't overly impressed. We had a day room before check in which stank of mould and was very damp. Our second room was nice enough and had a beautiful view over the rooftops of the city. The bathroom was a real let down as it had...

After 15 days and many different hotels around Vietnam, this was the worst. My room was damp and had no shower doors at all so when I had a shower the water went all over the bathroom. I was luckly enough to have a room with a window and a view but others in our group didnt have this luxury....

I spent 3 nights at this hotel, as part of a tour. The rooms smell like mould (I stayed in 2 seperate rooms, and also visited the rooms of other members of the tour, so this wasn't a once off.) There was mould on the walls, ceilings, decorative cushions on the bed, bed runners, and even on the paintings in...

You get what you pay for, can't say I was impressed but it was still nice. I was here with about 10 others and they catered to us pretty well. The breakfast wasn't great, you may as well walk down the street and find something awesome (not hard). The staff were friendly and the rooms clean.
