I have no real complaints. Reception staff spoke adequate english and were able to direct me to the electric car tours. For 5USD a night you can't really complain. I didnt try the free breakfast but what can you really expect for such a low price. There were a couple of hostels close by with the same price however there... More

The great thing about living in this hostel is that the capability to meet new people is inevitable. Although, the cleanliness of the bathroom and utilities needs working on, the facilities are functional if you are not fastidious about it. This is a 4-stories hostel, with the ground level being the reception etc. Next two upper levels are dorms of... More

We visited Hanoi for a couple of days during our trip to Vietnam and we chose this hostel because of its unbeatable price. We are very happy with the service here. Room is nice and very clean, wifi was good. Staff was very nice and helpful too.

Only if you are really desperate should you stay here. Upon arrival in Hanoi (approx 10pm) we visited around 6 different hostels looking for a private room but there were no vacancies. In the end we decided to stay in Hanoi Youth Hostel in a dormitory as a last resort. Only wanting to spend as little time as possible in... More

The hostel is cheap, obviously, but actually most of the hostels in Hanoi also charge $5 for a night. First the positives: the staff member, especially the girl on desk was really friendly. The bed was comfy and I did sleep well. Now the negatives: dirty... Really really grubby. Particularly, as someone else pointed out, the bathroom. The bathroom is... More

I'm really confused at the rating this hostel has on TripAdvisor... In my opinion it does not deserve even a 3/5 which I would see as average. The hostel is first and foremost dirty. The bedsheets are stained and the walls have likely not been wiped since 2014. The lockers are flimsy at best. Worst of all are the bathrooms... More

Booked it through Air BnB and got what was told / written in Air BnB. Absolutely transparent, helpful, and nice staff. They tell you all options with pros and cons and damm they are good with it. They are fully aware of what backpackers require and suggest and work to meet their requirements. Ms. Kelly is extremely approachable and help.... More

I am just leaving Hanoi, and i have to say, this is the best what you can expect when staying at a hostel. You get a clean, comfortable bed and an okay shower. It is located in the city centre, but still gets quite silent at night, so you can relax. The staff, Kate and Lin are the ones who... More

Comfy bed, balcony city view, nice bar downstairs with Happy Hour from 5 pm to 10 pm. A real home from home. Good location 3 min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and restaurants, bars nearby. They aslo provide laundry... More

The hostel offers rooms at good pricing. I had booked the private room during my short trip as my rest point between my travels to other locations. Staff were friendly and were quick to attend to your questions. The management's responsiveness and prompt service is something I recall greatly. If you are travelling alone, the hostel is also a great... More
