We stayed in the Balcony rooms of this hotel and were very satisfied with the room. It was large and with a small balcony that we could look out to the street. The breakfast was also very good with many choices but the hotel breakfast is quite small and there were not enough seats in one morning we came down....

Delightful hotel located in fabulous old quarter of Hanoi. Rooms well appointed and double glazed glass to keep weekend party noise out. We stayed twice on our trip. The first time all was good except bathroom was so small they couldn't fit any shower screen so everything got soaked. Second visit had room on eighth floor and bathroom great. Breakfast...

I booked two rooms for my boyfriend's family for their stay (about 1 week) in Hanoi. Whenever I came to the hotel, the doormen and receiptionists always treated me as if I were a tourguide with disrespectful manners by looking down and questioning me why and how long I would be at the hotel even I was escorted by my...

We loved this hotel - the location was utterly perfect, allowing us easy access to all shops, markets, restaurants. We had a balcony that looked out in to the street and we loved people watching from noon to night. The noise was not a problem, we loved it and it always was quiet by 12. The staff are very friendly...

I had two nights booked at The Medallion Hotel, the room was quite small and had a bad odour. The aircon helped a bit with this but the smell issues got worse in the bathroom where there was a bad smell that came from the drain when in the shower. After complaining to the staff of this and requesting if...

This is a good hotel in Ma May which is a great location! After work and back in the hotel you are in the middle of the area with restaurants and bars. However I had no problems with the music (only till 12) / noisy people so slept very well! Had a great time.

A simple and yet well furbished hotel right smack in the middle of the happening French Quarter. Most places in Hanoi is very quiet at night save for the French Quarter. For those welcoming livelier evenings, this is one hotel to consider.

I think people who want to party and maybe stay in Hanoi for two days want to stay here. The staff was friendly but they seemed stressed. I can't blame them though. They tried their level best. My room (804) was smelling really bad. Sorry - but really. In fact the corridor and the elevator also. I normally don't complain...

The hotel is in the middle of the town with many restaurants and shops near by. The room has quiet good size and the staff was welcoming. However you will expect a loud noise from the street at the weekend and also a noisy partying next-door hostel till around 11 PM.
