First the bad. Missed us at airport. Steps! Slippery and no rail. Now the good. Check in with personal help. Room spotless and with personal touch . Breakfast was really good. Lots of local specialities. Fresh fruit. Many tips for places, eating, museums, etc. Near I mean in old town and lake. Told us prices to expect for traveling. Helped with travel. But greatest part is all greeted us friendly--everytime.
Our stay was excellent at the Emerald Hotel, and that was mostly because some of the things that can be variable at hotels were executed very well at the Emerald Hotel. The room was excellent, the bathroom was nice and it also wasn’t too expensive for what we got. The best part, however, was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. They all knew our names, and they served us coffee and fruits at all hours of the day. The manager/personal concierge, James, was very friendly and helpful as well and he is a large part of why our stay was so good. He organized a Ha Long bay cruise for us, as we had booked the “honeymoon package” on the hotels website. We also had a driver waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. The only negatives were that the bed was a bit too hard, and the drain in the shower wasn’t opening normally, so a pool of water formed at the bottom of the shower during each shower. All in all, it was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again on another trip to Hanoi.…
Holiday Emerald hotel is a great place to stay with your family. We stayed in the family room for three adults. It was spacious and comfortable. A special surprise was the complimentary bottle of wine on the first evening. The fresh fruits in our room was replenished daily. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of tasty food. My mother who was traveling with us is not able to walk more than a few steps. Jenny and Anna went out of their way and helped us to find a wheelchair on rent for her. They were super helpful and so kind. They helped us to find suitable day trips at reasonable prices. They even helped me to find good places for shopping. Anna came on Christmas Eve and wished us Merry Christmas and gave us a lovely packet of cinnamon Biscotti. I would definitely stay here again.…
I spent a week in this hotel and everything was perfect. Especially the staff. The breakfast is also excellent with a lot of choices. There is no swimming pool though. I don't know why there is a picture of a swimming pool Would definitely stay again
A special thanks to Cindy who took care of us during our time in Hanoi and made our stay unforgettable. they even help us to carry our luggage to the hotel. The room was big and cosy, away from the noisy streets yet right in the hot spot for the Hanoi nights.
