Perfect location in the old city, near the lake and in the night market. The staff were amazing, speaking fluent English. We had a wonderful time!!! Breakfast was good, rooms are big and clean and wifi free.

We stayed in the double room which was $18 per night with access to a walk-in bathroom shower. I was surprised to find that our room had absolutely no windows or form of ventilation, or natural light. There were no pillowcases on the pillows, which can only be due to a slack attitude or forgetfulness. Only one bedlamp worked which... More

Judging by the reviews I think this place is very hit and miss. Unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience. Obviously mucked up bookings as we were put into a sister hotel which was down the road and smelt extremely damp.. Also we were put at the very top and had to lug all our bags up seven or eight... Nice hotel in Hanoi! Good location in a tourist area The rooms are big and clean with a little balcony to the street, the rooms with the balcony are noisy from outside.. Breakfast is very basic but nice Good value for the money you pay.

Short stop in Hanoi with the idea of going to see Halong Bay. After booking the staff recommended us a luxury cruise and it was perfect. As return we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Great location in the old city and very close to the lake as well as the main shopping streets. The staff were so friendly and... More

Bad, bad, bad. Transfer nowhere to be found from airport. Check in and the room specs were nothing as advertised. It was about 25s/m and what I booked and paid for was 45s/m. When trying to sort out the room the staff yelled at me, not take responsibility, said I causing problem. Very load from traffic and couldn't sleep. Do... More

We emailed Golden Wings ll to book our stay there. Little did we know that it had changed owner and the old owner (who still owned the email adress goldenwings2@gmail.com) booked us on his hotel Golden Wings instead. Without telling us! This hotel is no where near the standard of the other. Lousy shower, not very clean, non english speaking... More
