Unsophisticated accommodation best suited for those travelers who are indifferent to comfort and need a cheap bed to spend the night. For $2.50/night one is offered a bunk bed, a free breakfast (consisting of a 100 gram loaf of white bread, a fried egg and a couple of tomato/cucumber slices on the side, plus chili sauce and tea/coffee/sugar); from 6...

Horrible horrible service! Place is crawling with bugs. Laundry service terrible. We had two bags of washing done which they charged us a disgusting amount 40000. Then lost a bag and proceeded to tell us we were lying and actually had it. They threatened to call the police on us??? We still have no idea why. So when we didn't...

Dirty room, dirty beds, dirty bathroom. I'm pretty sure most jail cells are cleaner and better kept than this place. While the location is pretty central, everything else is horrible. Down to the company that runs the hostel. Highly recommend you go anywhere else.

BEDBUGS. We stayed one night and left with bedbugs. It's taken several days off of our limited time in Vietnam dealing with the stress and physical discomfort, not to mention the hassle and frustration of trying to eradicate the bedbugs from our belongings. The hostel is loud at all hours of the night, incredibly dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting, the...

This backpackers hostel sits in the old quarters and it's occupied by a lot of friendly backpackers from all around the world and various walk of life. We were in Hanoi for a few days with this backpackers hostel. We signed up for the 2D/1N Halong Bay Castaway tour and the 2D/3N Sapa Homestay tour. The service provided by the...

$2.50US = bed w/ A/C, showers, made to order breakfast, unlimited keg/fresh beer for 2-3 hours, and a full pocket. What's to complain about? The staff are too friendly. The vibe is nice. Can throw your own tune on if you want. 24hr reception. Walking distance to things. A+

I've stayed here repeatedly using hanoi as a base to sapa and halong. It's open 24/7 so no problems arriving off a night bus or after a night out. The staff are lovely and always keen to help. Free breakfast is included and it's not bad at all, I loved this mornings rice with veg! Wifis good in the rooms...

One of my favourite hostels to date! cheapest too! This place has such a great atmosphere, and lovely staff. Bonding with fellow travellers over free beer at 6pm was my favourite part couple minor things i'd improve- proper lockers and fix the shower.. other then that it was perfect. I'd return to Hanoi just to stay here again :)
