Have just checked out of this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. Stayed in the Hilton Hanoi Opera the first 2 nights and after our Halong Bay tour had to book another hotel due to high occupancy levels at the Hilton due to ASEAN Leaders Summit in Hanoi. Arranged a car to the airport for $12.50 (250 000 VND)...

This is 10th visit to Hanoi and my third stay at this hotel. I must say that the hotel has done an excellent job in upkeeping the entire hotel: lobby, guestroom, restaurant, and even public toilet. Love their free internet access, and the firmness of their bed. Noticed a nice change in the lobby e.g. change of a sofa set...

This hotel really is a great place to stay in the old quarter precinct of Hanoi. The beds are like sleeping in the clouds. The staff are friendly yet very professional and the general feel of this place is of high quality. I would recommend the Maison as a launching pad to the more rustic parts of northern Vietnam as...

This place was amazing. The hotel looked great on arrival and we were treated very well by the front door staff. they took care of everything very quickly while we sat down for a cup of tea. Our room on the first night was very nice. Great furnishings in the room and the bed was very comfortable. Lunch in the...

Stayed 2 nights with my girlfriend in Maison, we had a great surprise to find out how good the hotel is, if you get this hotel for a low price no need to pay more for the big hotel that are 5 minuets from Maison. The rooms looks great with good size, best bad we had in the trip, good...

We stayed in this hotel for our honeymoon this year and they must have known because there was a delicious cake waiting for us on our arrival! The room was fairly large for Vietnam and we had a window, which was nice but the view wasn't great (we were on the 5th floor). The breakfast was good and varied and...

This is a great location in the centre of Hanoi. We moved to this hotel after another one was too noisy and the staff gave us a discount for a 'walk'in' request. We were given a very quiet room away from the street - which was great - but only had a window facing into the hallway. We didn't mind...

We were pleasantly surprised by the excellence of the Maison d'Hanoi. Its location is fabulaous (but so are 1,000 other small hotels in Hanoi), so it was the beautiful and well-maintained rooms that totally won us over. Very good service too, the receptionist helped us to call the travel agency to arrange for the delivery of our train tickets. Oh,...

Great hotel in a great location. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The rooms are also very quiet considering your in the middle of the old quarter. I thought the lack of windows would be an issue, however, you look out onto an atrium so no big deal. The room isn't huge, but you don't travel to a place...

This small hotel, located in Hanoi's old quarter, aims to please and more often than not it is able to do exactly that. There was a small mix-up with my reservation; however, it was handled with smiles and courtesy once I brought it up. I appreciated that, because I don't like to complain. Maison d'Hanoi is an excellent value (we...
